Mission: Getting Ready (Character Development)
Location: Conference Room-Space Station
Timeline: Current

Everyone on the Chuck Norris was called to the Conference Room on the station for meeting/introduction from the New XO. She waited by the door to greet each one that entered, she wanted to meet as many crew as possible. The relationship between XO and the crew need to be unbreakable in case of something happening that warrants all crew to assist.

K'ner stretched out the kinks and stepped into the fresher for a quick cleanse and sanitize. A fresh uniform was next and a check on the time. So far so good, she took a last glance in the mirror, making sure her tendrils were presentable and not in the way. Heading up the corridor to the conference room, she could see a short line at the entrance as the arrivals introduced themselves on the way in.

"Betaras, K'ner, combat medic." She said when it came her turn. She didn't feel the need to announce her rank since it was readily evident. She did wonder idly, if there would be snacks.

"Well, hello, I am Olivia but call me Lizzy, nice to meet you. What's your spot on Chuck Norris?" Olivia asked.

Lt Kronnelti had just went back to his quarters to freshen up. Knowing the commander is on a strict schedule he takes no more than 10 minutes, new uniform with his Lt pins placed perfectly. (Ok it's time to see everybody again and find out what happened on the ship the other day he says to himself).

Olivia nodded at him as he walked in, since they had already met they were on good terms. But now for the rest of the crew.

Following Kronnelti into the room was Ensign Selina Shaw, science officer. As the Chuck Norris had no current Chief Science Officer, she quickly found that she was running the department. Albeit temporarily until a more senior officer was found. “Hi everyone. I hope I’m not too late.” She meekly took a seat around the large table and made herself comfortable, flicking her blonde bangs to one side with her fingers.

"That's fine, Still waiting on a few, and Ms. Shaw, I will talk to the Captain about getting you in the Chief Science Officer spot, sound good?"

Selina was taken aback slightly. She was 9 months out of the Academy and already being lined up for a head of department position. She smiled, straightened her uniform and stood a little taller, “You know best, ma’am.”

Lt. Sheela walked in, glancing around at the room. She noticed a couple people she had seen before, although most of them were new to her. Noticing the woman standing at the entrance, she said "I gather you're Commander Dersch? Hi, I'm Lieutenant Durzo Sheela, the ships new Chief Medical Officer."

"Hello Sheela, nice to meet you. We still have a few people coming, we can start in a few minutes, gotta give the crew some time"

Walking in the door a little out of breath Mira smiled. There had been a problem in her department she had to handle before she could join. "Commander " she nodded a little embarrassed she was late

"Commander you look like you just ran. Let me guess, had a little problem with you department? Please sit"

Mira nodded taking a seat. "It's handled now. We are operating at 100% yet it's seems people want 150% power. " she gave a little shrug.

Scanning a meeting room full of unfamiliar faces, Steven Wright made his way into the conference room quickly, nodding to Kronnelti and approaching Commander Dersch. "Commander, we haven't had a chance to meet yet, but I've been with the Norris off and on for a while now. Lieutenant Junior Grade Steven Wright, Intelligence Officer and encryption specialist. Ensign Score and I have agreed to rotate schedules, one of us always on duty.

"Hello, Mr. Wright. We are going to go ahead and begin, but nice to meet you. I have allowed Ensign Score to stay back for now, she has personal matters to attend to but I will fill her in later"

After Wright sat she begun. "I would first off like to welcome you, and I am as you already know Commander Olivia (Lizzy) Dersch. The main reason we are here is for two important things, ONE, feedback for the past training session and TWO, I want to know who Captain Aurther Winter is, or was." She let this sink in and plus she wanted to see their reaction to the name

"Ma'am" Kronnelti started, "I didn't know that was a training session and I must say that got me good as I was training myself in the holodeck so thank you for that and as for the former Captain Winters my knowledge he was a good man bold and got things done. Winters also helped rescue me from captivity but he was a private person" as Kronnelti finished speaking.

"You're welcome, just wondering cause the way, not going to say the name, but the way this person interacted looked liked he did something bad. As for the training, you're welcome, every few months I will host one. Next time it will be in the holodeck on what ever station we are at at that time." She said.

Mira sat back in her chair watching the new crewmembers, in time they would all feel like family members and work together very smoothly. She was interested in thier ideas and what each had to say.

Just then Klesh walked into the conference room, seemingly out of breath. She had been running late from her office as she had been speaking with one of her officers in her department. "Apologies for being late Commander. I'm Lieutenant Commander Klesh Ezah, Chief Strategic Operations Officer" she said as she approached the new XO.

"Thats, fine we just started. Now the main reason, the training session was a success, and I would like to thank you all that did help in its making and even joining in. At some point I would like a full crew seasion but thats in the future. If there is not any further questions I would like to thank you all For coming"

“Actually ma'am” Kronnelti spoke, “was Winters supposed to be in that session?”

"No he was not, and that is still unknown why it happen" she said

Keti had arrived some minutes earlier nodding at Dersch as she was in the middle of a conversation with the Klingon Kronnelti or something similar and hovered at the back looking a little tired.

"Are there any other questions?" She asked

“I believe we are all set, if you don't mind ma'am I need to go check on the bridge and make sure we are set to go for our next journey when ever we leave base.” says Kronnelti.

"Sounds good... dismissed"
