Not another Gorn mission

After Kronnelti taught a class on how the Gorn & klingon fought he still thought it wasn't enough, he eventually made his way to the Captain.

Mira after the extensive class I taught I still don't think it's enough. He exclaimed

I truly think nobody is prepared for what will happen next and that's with extensive training.

Mira put the PADD down she was reading when Awal walked in. "No, one class will not be enough. It's going to be ongoing training. Everyone at least half an hour a day. I don't expect my crew to be experts, but if they can hold off a Gorn long enough for someone else to take a Gorn out. That is what I am hoping for."

Ok, but my training will only get harder. He said and since they have the upper hand on us with being able to smell blood.

Next training I do please join us even if it's to watch.

Mira nodded, "I will but I was also thinking of teaching a class as well. I didn't start out as a fighter. So possibly the hardest people to train? It might give you, K'ner and who ever else is training more time with the ones who are promising. People like ....Chin and Zimia i could work with. They have no skills at all."

Then come join us as a guest instructor and I'll even blindfold myself as he chuckles.

I'd probably get a beating but to be predictable is to be unpredictable. Said Kronnelti

Mira sat back in her chair with a laugh. "I spent 4 years. 3 hours a day learning to be the most deadliest fighter my mate could turn me into. He held nothing back. Kolar was a Dahar Master. When someone said 'oh she is your mate, you are more than likely going easy on her', another Dahar Master was brought in. I thought Kolar had been hard on me, but that guy brought it to a whole new level. " Mira shook her head, remembering how much pain she was in ." I spent more time in sickbay than out for a few weeks back then. But when the base was attacked." Mira frowned and looked down at her PADD. "I found out how deadly I could be. It scared the crap out of me. Then surviving on hell cemented my skills. Now, don't get me wrong, there are things I have to do in order to win. My opponent can't know my skill level, and I have to move fast. He is going to die, or I will. " she shrugged " I was planning on taking some classes in less deadly techniques of fighting, but with the Gorn," she shook her head. "I don't have the time to learn to be less deadly. "

She thought about it. "Strength against strength in a long fight you would win, speed I would. I am glad we don't have to prove anything with each other. I wish this ship had a holodeck. Training would be so much easier. Without having to worry the crew was going to hurt each other."

Good thing I picked up bamboo staffs then, but in all seriousness I want you to spar with me while I'm blindfolded. I know your fighting techniques so being blind makes it harder to know what you are going to do.

Fight like the Gorn he said, don't hold back. He said

Their bamboo staffs, they have a breaking point, if anybody needs to go easy it's me.

"Bamboo?" Mira asked curiously." I have training with the quarter staff, but mine is made out of Baakonite. It can be carried in a jacket, then expanded. I am not sure that would take out a Gorn..... But it could keep its claws away from your skin. It's spitting is a problem. it's one of the ways is lays eggs in its hosts."

"You are stalling." Kronnelti chuckled

"I am! I think that's a bad idea. If we do this, it shouldn't be in front of the crew. Do you want to test yourself or me?" Mira frowned.

Both of us he said.

Mira nodded slowly. "Alright. When and were?" she asked with mixed emotions. She had done most of her training in the holodeck this last year. As Chief of Security, he had the right to see how each one of the crew could handle combat situations.

Shuttle bay 3, it's where I do my training and keep my shuttle. As for time after we feed our kids he chuckled and that's in a few hours.

Mira chuckled "you're on bro."

Kronnelti smiled, don't hold back as he got up and left the captains room.
