Finally, Mira picked up her PADD and saw a message from Zimia. Her and Dianna had taken the kids to the mess hall. They were safe, and Larry, one of the security officers, was in the room with them as was a few others. "Thank all that is holy." Mira said

She started to hand the padd to Kevin when Zimia asked if she should go and get the weapon because Larry wouldn't let her leave. Quickly, she typed NO STAY PUT. Larry is in charge.

Nodding to herself, she handed the PADD over to Kevin, knowing he wouldn't be able to think clearly if he was worried about their son.

Typed in the final code to trap the Gorn in the Hall way on deck 3. "Got him!"

Mira frowned as the force fields went up in front and behind the Gorn. The dot moved in a different direction. "son of a targ!" she cursed. "Did he go through the wall?"

Kronnelti comes back to the bridge, captain I need a team and bio suits he said, I'll have up to date in real time. I'm going to weapons as well, I'll need hud and sensors. Either it dies or I'm trapping it in an escape pod.

Mira nodded " It needs to die. It can't be permitted to escape. If it can go through our walls the escape pods will not hold it and Awal. Dianna and both babies are in the mess hall."

He nods. Kronnelti carefully makes his way to security to assemble a team, he breaks down what the gorn can do.

Bio suits are a must because we don't know what it's capable of. Weapons: shoot on site, it must be destroyed and absolutely do not let it escape.

The team walked into weapons and grabbed what was needed.

Security/haz alpha

Kronnelti separates into two teams A & B, starting with deck 5 sweeping down to 4 then 3.

Security/haz bravo

Bravo starts in the shuttle bay and works their way up, both teams meet on deck 3.

Sir all decks clear said James. Kronnelti turned around and said no this thing is watching us and nothing is clear.

Mira heard what James said but knowing that Kronnelti knows better than underestimate things that can out smart him.

{BRIDGE}

Mira narrowed her blue eyes at hearing clear. "Yes they are able to. It's still showing on our scans" Mira told him still watching the scans with Kevin. She hated feeling helpless. She should be out there but...... the Captain’s place was on the bridge.

"They are smaller then the parents but instantly lethal predators and fast." She added as she tried to remember everything she had read about them.

Ok said Kronnelti, he finds the nearest replicator and gets several orders of gagk


He orders his team to spread out and watch their hud.

He grabs the food and spreads it on another haz suite and waits.

Blip blip blip his hud was going nuts, it's near by slowly making its way to Kronnelti.

This thing turns the corner and sees the food l, it starts eating as Kronnelti quietly comes out, lifts his phaser and fires.

The red alert goes off. =/\= captain turn off red alert, I killed it =/\= said Kronnelti.


{ Backtrail }

Chbet and Deena crawled along, examining the path the Gorn took, either patching or closing off various circuits and conduits until they could be properly repaired. No one wanted some unwanted explosion at the wrong time, or a critical failure in one of the ship's systems.

K'ner held out a hand to help Deena through the hatch.

"Well, that's the most of it. Chbet has sent up the report on the spots we couldn't fix but they think it'll take less than 24 hours to be 100% again. We've bypassed anything that could cause trouble until that happens."

K'ner nodded at Deena's report, turning in time to see Chbet's head just poking out. They both reached out to help the bulky corporal to their feet.

"I need to do that more often. You really get a workout like that!"

K'ner laughed. "Only you Chbet... only you! Let's get back to the bay and finish the AAR and add on a Gorn addendum." She waved them on, securing the hatch and following.
