Mira was having trouble breathing, but facts kept running around in her mind along with things her symbiont had taken notice of.

"Have shields raised yellow alert." Mira met K'ner eyes, and she nodded, speaking into her commbadge.

"In my bag has our files, things they shouldn't know about us and weapons. They act like they don't have. They knew the ship was going come." Mira told them before she started coughing.

K'ner numbed Mira's throat, knowing she didn't want to go out just yet. K'ner triggered a suppressant for the foreign particles raging through Mira's system until her lab could tailor a vaccine, especially with the changes since she'd taken on the symbiont.

Once Mira's coughing had lessened, K'ner leaned in, advising her on her condition, and that the symbiont is fine. "The files are on the way to the bridge for analysis. Don't try to talk at length, I've just eased the discomfort but there is some swelling. From what you've told us, and scans, I believe that not only do they know more than they should, they've tailored what would otherwise be a mass bioweapon."

K'ner leaned back to look across at Kronnelti. The medical staff had immediately kept him unconscious, both for his comfort and to stave off attempts to attack anyone around him in a fugue state. His telltales on the wall monitor were improving, slowly, they'd tailor the vaccine for his bio as well.

"It would seem those of us with a very brief exposure haven't had any symptoms. I would guess air dispersal, along with something else, say, in their food or drink, combines to make sure no one goes far. . . Makes them dependent on both to stay alive. It's a virulent little sucker."

K'ner paused, another passing thought entering her brain. At Mira's inquiring gaze she shared it to see what she thought. "The little man mentioned the Gorn raiding here frequently... I'm wondering if maybe some of that was created by them. Create a farm?"

Kronnelti started coughing then spit up blood, M Mira I I'm sorry for causing the trouble we're in.

No he couldn't die! Mira thought. K'ner moved quickly to Kronnelti side as one of K'lar's team member came close to her. Mira said " they want a ship. It's a million years in the past. If they got thier hands on the ship they could change the future..... destroy the Gorn or anyone else." Mira's eyes moved to the door way. Hoping to see Kevin but he would be on the bridge until the ship was safe. She had a feeling it wasn't safe.

What happened to Kronnelti was due to the atmosphere. Since Mira drank the water it didn't affect her as bad.
