Opening her eyes, Mira lay quietly. What had been real and what hadn't been? The first thing she did was pull the blanket away from her leg. Ha, her spots were still there! She grinned. That darn eel hadn't eaten them off. Ok, that had all been a dream. What about that talk with K'ner about always finding trouble even when she wasn't looking for it? She looked around the room, no guard, so that had to have been a dream to. Good!
Wrapping the sheet around her, Mira slowly slipped from the bed, thinking to get some clothes and food, but ended up on the floor.

Mira rolled her eyes as a nurse came around the corner and raised her eyebrow at her sitting on the floor.

"And what did you hope to accomplish by getting out of bed, Commander?"
Mira smirked. "Clothes, food, Raktajino, then a trip to the bridge." Mira shrugged her shoulders. Seemed plausible to her.

The nurse shook her head no. "Larry? Please aid Commander Rodale back into bed."

Mira's eyes widen. What was security doing here? He picked her up and put her back in bed with a grin. "Good to see you awake, Commander. The nurse will get you some food. "

Mira touched a curl laying on her shoulder, then reached up to realize more the half her hair was gone. "What the......"

The nurse pushed a tray into place in front of her with a bowl of chicken and rice soup and a glass of water. "Yea, about that, I took off the burnt hair and then had to even both sides out. It got shorter as it dried and curled more, but it's very pretty. "

Mira nodded thinking yea it did that when her hair was short. She ate her soup quietly, not knowing what to say right now.

Once she was done, she gave a little smile. "Thank you. How long? " Mira asked. The burns were gone.

"Only a few hours and before you ask no, you just about died. You need to relax and rest." The nurse told her.

Mira nodded, so that part was true she had almost died.

"Ok, I need a PADD." Mira asked

The nurse frowned but handed her one.
Mira started a report on what records she found on the Avenger. She, then, pulled the the reports of the planet Chaltok IV disaster in testing, polaric energy, and how the weapon was tested. The explosion caused a time travel rift. If that was how the USS Avenger got sent to preset time, it wouldn't be possible to use polaric energy to send them back, because it had been outlawed.
Polaric ion energy was so highly volatile. It was capable of generating power on a large scale, but if used, it also caused subspace chain reactions. The explosions left behind high levels of polaric radiation, as well as subspace fractures in time. It was why the Polaric Test Ban Treaty of 2268 was signed.

Her recommendation was to take the USS Avenger back to DS9 and let Starfleet know what happened. Since the USS Avenger wasn't in history anymore, they must have stayed in this time." She sent the report to the Captain and forwarded it to Lt Lance, Lt Kronnelti, and Doctor K'ner. Was she missing anything one else?

Mira started to read the reports, but soon fell asleep.
