Running down the beach, Mira heard her name get called. She slowed to a stop to let Chin catch up to her. “What can I do for you, Ensign?”

Chin blushed,” I need some advice about girls?”

Mira raised an eyebrow, looking surprised. Chin quickly amended, “I mean woman. I am I interested in ……one.” The last word was almost a whisper.

Tucking a curl behind her ear, she nodded “OK I…..” she looked around to see if Rodriguez was around. He wasn’t and Chin looked serious about the request. “if I can help, I will. But you need to know I have no real experience in the whole boyfriend girlfriend stuff. “

“But you were mated?”

Mira took a seat on the deck, putting her feet in the water splashing. “true. But I didn’t do anything to start that. Mira shook her head no “Don’t ask who because I am not telling. Back to your problem. “ she smiled. “We are not here to talk about my lack of a love life. We are here to talk about yours.”

Sitting there for a moment, Mira wondered if Q would let them start beaming back up. There was another crew member who could use the break, to come down here, and more people needed up there.

Standing up to head back to the resort, a woman popped onto the dock. “So you weren’t thinking of my brother with that kiss? You were a lot more fun drunk.”

Mira eyes widened by all that was holy Q? She got pushed and landed in the…… jungle? How could this happen, she thought. What she could see of the clouds turned black, and it started to rain with far too much lightning. Did something happen to the weather control systems?

“What is Q up to now!” Mira started to say curse words in 27 different languages as she looked around. Risa did have a jungle, but she had no idea what kind of animals lived here. Was she in danger because all she had was the black bikini Q put her in and a communicator. She didn’t even have shoes.

She put her hand on his as he helped her over a fallen tree. “I don’t understand how you knew I was here? I just got here.”

“We have been looking for you for hours.”

“We?” she asked as she saw the cave he was leading her to.

“The ship. We track you to the storm but can’t beam back right now.”

Mira nodded. Q must have put her in a time out again “why don’t we just hike out?”

Lance shook his head no “it isn’t safe. I brought food. Look.”

Mira bit her lip. "How did you know we would need food."

"I come prepared." he told her with a slight smile on this face.
