Help in the med bay

Mission: The Q Effect
Location: Chuck Norris
Timeline: Before now you don't.

The instant Kronnelti and G'ginloss are beamed back onto the Chuck Norris the Lt immediately heads to med bay on G'ginloss's orders.

=/\= Lieutenant Commander G'ginloss to K'ner and Lt Sheela I have Lt Kronnelti coming to med bay, something is wrong with him ever since he was shot. =/\=

Within minutes Kronnelti stumbled in holding his right shoulder, his demeanor was off and so was his skin color was changing at a rapid rate. Fumbling his words he tried to call out for the Drs but he couldn't get the words out.

Kronnelti fell to his knees and vomited all over the floor the color was off, he vomited again this time there was some kind of parasite wiggling around.

K'ner rounded the corner in time to see Kronnelti hit the deck. "Lieutenant, welcome back to the ship. you seem to be a little off this morning. You haven't been trying to match commander Rodale's diet have you?"

She abandoned her attempt at levity at the look of disassociation in his eyes; he wasn't totally coherent at the moment. Another nurse arrived and they placed him on a biobed. As the medbay personnel started his exam, she backed up to the deposit he left on the floor.

Donning gloves and protective accoutrements, she scooped up a sample for the lab and sterilized the rest of the mess...

Dr. Sheela arrived running, and quickly helped K'ner scoop up the samples. "Did you actually see him vomiting Lieutenant? The way it comes out of the mouth can tell one a quite a lot about the cause of the illness."

K'ner nodded. "It was classic projectile vomiting, I was just glad he had seized up just before, so he was pointed mostly downward at the deck or it would be all over the place. He seized up again and expelled, so his body is definitely reacting and trying to get rid of whatever is irritating his insides."

As Sheela and K'ner picked up the samples, Kronnelti started violently shaking, spitting up more vomit. As this is happening, an invisible voice starts laughing, "STUPID KLINGON!"

K'ner stepped back as a bot sanitized what was left on the floor. She looked around and addressed the CMO. "I've never activated the EMH here but that seems kind of weird. Did you program it like that?"

Sheela made a dry laugh. "I wish. No, I think we have an intruder on the ship". She furrowed her brow, and continued “They shouldn’t be able to access these Servers though. This is pretty concerning.”

"Silly, silly Doctors," the voice says, "why help this Klingon?"

K'ner looks at Sheela curiously.

That's when Q appears in the med bay. "What has this thing done for you?" As he points to Kronnelti as he lays still.

"Oh ladies, my, what beautiful women this ship has!" He grinned. "I am a very fortunate." Q told the two doctors.

K'ner's gaze shifts between the ailing Lt and the newcomer. "We're not authorized to release information about a patient," she started, realizing whoever this was had some pretty deep access already. "But he's great at parties, plus he makes a great energy sponge when there's phaser fire flying around..."

K'ner kept up her confused look, her mind whirling with options and possibilities as she studied the individual before them. She didn't recognize him from the personnel records she'd reviewed.

"How would you both like to go on a vacation?" Q asked both women.

Just then, Mira came stumbling in looking like she had been in a bad fight. "Be careful how you answer that question, Doctors. That's how we got in this mess in the first place." Mira told them.

Mira's knuckles were bloody, a split lip and wounds all over her. "Bad guy and not a crewmembers." She clumbed up on a bio bed with a moan.

K'ner mumbled as she started her assessment. "I'd hate to see the other guy..."

Q frowned at Mira. "I am not a bad guy, and you look horrible, my dear. Just ask and make all your pains go away."

"Not happening, buddy." She looked away from Q to the other man on the Biobed. "What happened to Kronnelti?"

K'ner glanced up at the monitor, hoping the CMO had a better handle on the newcomer than she did. "We're still trying to determine that. He's contracted some kind of parasite for one thing, we're running him through a suite of tests at the moment."

"Could the crew be at risk? Not one of us beamed up through the ship's bio filters from Risa. He did it. " Q raised an eyebrow at Mira.

"So feisty, I love it." Q told her. Mira rolled her eyes

Suddenly Kronnelti starts yelling in the state he's in, "GET OFF MY SHIP ASSHAT!"

Mira's eyes widened as Kronnelti started yelling. She slipped from the Biobed. She gave Q a hard look. "What have you done to him?"

Q put his hand over his heart, "nothing, I swear."

Mira didn't believe a word Q said. "Whatever you have done, undo it."

She went to Kronnelti, taking his arm to help keep him in bed. "Listen to me, Kronnelti. You are safe and in sickbay."

Kronnelti's eyes jotted open, he spits out a Ceti Eel, he moans, "what the hell is going on and why am I in sickbay?"

Mira knocked the Ceti Eel off Kronnelti's chest. It fell to the floor with a splat. "It might have to do with the things you keep throwing up." She said with some humor in her voice.

Her eyes met Q's. He thought this is funny. She growled at Q. "Let him go now from your game. You are going to kill him."

Q frowned. "You like him more then me?"

Closing her eyes for a moment trying to calm her rising temper Mira said "of course I do. I like everyone on this ship. I am his commanding officer. now let him go." Really at this point she liked the Ceti Eel more then she did Q but thought that it might not be a good idea to tell him that.

"FINE" Q snapped his fingers the room lit up then he was gone.

Looking down at Kronnelti she sighed "how are you feeling now?"

Better as Kronnelti sits up, I swear if I see that man or thing again I am going to beat the living snot out of him

Mira laughed, "We can tag team him. Only their is a female too. She is worse then the male. If I get taken off this ship again or put in time out, blood will have to be shed. Only, with those two, I think it will be mine."

Why of all times does that thing have to screw with people. Before I came to sickbay I was boots on ground with G'ginloss before getting hit by phaser fire.

Mira blinked a few times, and her eyes met with the doctors both looked surprised. "That was a week ago. We went to earth for debriefing and then got ........hijacked by the ....two beings. Their rule number one is that we are not permitted to say their names. We went to Risa too. Do you remember any of that? We are stuck on a klingon ship in Romulan Space." She looked around sickbay wondering how the medical team was fairing with the Klingon medical equipment. Fortunately they seemed to have it well in hand.

"Just the strange opposites of us and earth nothing else after that."

"That was the mirror universe." Mira nodded. "Wait you don't remember us dealing with the Undine on Federation outpost 382? That was when you got shot. Then we went to Earth and Risa." She sighed. "It will all come back to you. Right now, I need you well and strong to help me with our two Intruders. I need to head back to the bridge." She looked at the Doctor. "Get him on his feet when he can." With that, she headed to a meeting on the bridge.

"Commander I have a request," said Kronnelti. "I want you to hit me as hard as you can!! If that bug did something then I'll know. Doctor, please let me up."

K'ner looked at the CMO and at her nod, released the restraints.

Kronnelti then walks up to the commander and just said, "do it."

Mira stopped walking and frowned. "You want me to hit you?" Mira bit her lip, wondering if he was back to hallucinating again. He nodded. This was probably a huge mistake, but it might be something he needed as a Klingon. "Just so we are on the same page, this isn't a Klingon flirt thing right? "

He shook his head again. Her eyes widened he was serious. "Ok"

She had to take one step back and used her whole body weight into the punch, knowing her hand was going to be sore later, but she could deal with it. She punched him hard. It rocked his head back. If he had been human, he would be out cold. She watched to see what happened.

After being rocked, Kronnelti looked at the commander, his eyes went wide. "FU*K!" he yelled. "Who the hell planted that god damn bug."

"Remembering back going through all the hell from the last few missions," he said. "Thank you and I'm off to find the intruder you mentioned," Kronnelti says.

Mira smirked as he said thank you. She had been ready to jump out of reach if he had started to swing back at her. "No one has ever thanked me for punching them before, but let's not mention this to the Captain shall we?" Mira rubbed her hand as turned to leave again.
