Just then, there was a flash that lit up the room. Mira tensed, expecting to have been taken off the ship again, but she was still in the same spot next to the Captain.

She turned around to see who was missing. Spotting that Lance was not on the bridge then went over to internal sensors. "One crewmen missing. Lieutenant Kevin Lance."

How what was Q up to? "Is he on the planet?" She asked.

The man in the science station shook his head. " I can't tell. The planet is making it hard to scan. I am betting we would have the same problem with transporters, too."

"Well, this ship is huge. We have to have shuttles on it." Mira said."Someone find them. I am sure between Kronnelti and myself, we can take a least two down. Then, we can use the shuttle onboard scanners to search for life signs."
