Mira's eyes flicked from the screen to see who walked in, and she relaxed her stance.

The 2nd office, by all that was holy. She gave him a smile. True, the chances of them going to war might have increased since he was Klingon, but it wouldn't be on her orders. She had nothing against Klingons her mate had been one, and she loved the way they thought. Straight forward and to the point.

"Lt Commander Ech'am G'ginloss reporting for duty."

"Lt Commander Ech'am G'ginloss." she said just as formal to him and then gave him the report, " we have over a dozen Zaj ships so far they haven't made a move. Shields and weapons are at full power. We are only missing a few crewmen before the base shields went up. Command is now yours, sir."

She hadn't sat in the captain's chair, so she remained where she stood off to the right of the command chair.
Chin handed her an earpiece so she could listen to the transmissions "get the translators working on their language." she ordered now that she was finally able to take her eyes off the screen.

if they could figure out thier language they might be able to find out what was going on.
