Location: MIRROR UNIVERSE
Timeline: 3 weeks from present time

{Harbinger}

Mira’s fingertips rubbed the place her forehead normally had her spots. “ do we know why?”

Montgomery frowned. “If Sandman is to be believed, there was a man they were supposed to kill on the planet. What kind of name is Sandman?”

Mira sighed. “Codenames, Montgomery. It’s just his codename. He normally kills the target. The endless sleep. Where is he now?”

“Sandman or Bishop?” He asked her.

Rolling her eyes. She gave a little sigh. “Bishop!”

“OH, he is in the brig. I kept the two section 31 agents apart.”

Mira nodded. “OK. We keep them apart for now.”

“They are up to something.” He told her, still frowning.

Mira nodded “I am sure of it. We need to find out what that is. Then we deal with that problem.” She gave another little sigh. “I am going to see the kids, then deal with the Orion.”

Montgomery raised an eyebrow. “As the Captain, you should keep your hands clean.”

Mira close her eyes. “I am getting my son back. Were you able to get an image of Kevin’s office for me?”

He nodded. “The Horga’hn was sitting on the shelf as you thought.”

Pressing her lips together she nodded. “So the filing of the paperwork was fake?”

“No. We just can’t really tell who filed it."

Mira nodded her understanding. “This really hurts.”

“There is no way that Kevin didn’t love you. I know someone is messing with your head, but go with your heart.”

Mira’s eyes teared up but she nodded. It was what she was trying to do.

{Holodeck }

“Mama!” Kolar ran to her, arms opened. Picking him up, she swung him around. “I am green now.” He touched her dark hair. “See? Just like you.”

Mira grinned. “Well, you look every nice as a green boy.” She touched his dark curls. Then looked over at Ashla playing in the water. Her little green hands patting the water with a grin. “ma” her daughter giggled again.
Well having green kids was going to take time to get use to.

Mira frowned as Montgomery’s voice came over the ship's inter comm. she gathered the kids to her and sat down. “Enter, Montgomery.” The ship shook violently. Mira eyes widened as she looked at Zimia. “This isn’t like last time.” Mira cursed. Getting to her feet, she ran to the bridge.

{Bridge}

The doors opened as Mira fell into bridge as graceful as ever, through cursing all the way on way down. Rolling to her hand and knees, she half pops back up to look at the screen. Then cursed “Wormhole! Come to a stop!” Mira crawled across the deck because the ship was still shaking violently. She asks, still on he knees. “Do we know where we are?”

Montgomery picked her up and sat her in the captain’s chair. “it’s more of a when we are. I think we were tossed back in time by three weeks.”

Narrowing her eyes, she tried to do a quick calculation. “Head back to Orion with any luck we will be ahead of them.” They had been following the ship that had her son.

“Captain, ship heading out, they hit warp speed. Sorry Captain we lost them.”

Mira bit her lip then cursed. She watched as this Orion came into view. It looked like a pristine version of the cesspool from their universe. “Was that the ship?” Mira asked her voice cracked. How could they be three weeks ahead of time and still miss the ship?”

“I... don’t think so, Captain. I believe the Emperor’s ship is still in dock.” Chin told her. “I think the ship departing could have had Jason on it, but that is the emperor’s ship. He should still be here."

Okay, Mira thought. They had a chance still. Seems like they were always behind. “Let’s get down there and get some intel.”

“Before we get information from the prisoner?” Montgomery asked. “We can’t go blindly.”

Mira growled. “I am tired of being too slow and three moves behind them, Montgomery. I will get my child back. Even if I set this whole universe on fire to do it!” Standing quickly, she walked to the screen. Ready my shuttle.”


{ Temporary Holding Cell - Cargo Bay One }

K'ner flicked the Orion on the forehead, causing him to flinch. He opened his eyes as he grimaced. "Okay, okay. I'm awake."

K'ner just looked at him as she squatted near the floor where he was lying... She studied him, watching for queues, just letting him ramp up his own anxiety.

"What? I'm not telling you anything... whoever you are... Do you know who I work with? Do You?!? When they find you, they're gonna-What's that?"

His concern rose as the pitch of his voice rose as well. Since she'd witnessed his wuwu voice, she wasn't at all surprised as she twirled a baton in her fingers.

"This?" She didn't even glance at it as she twirled it just at the edge of his peripheral vision. He was just realizing he couldn't turn his head when she clipped his temple ever so slightly. His body clenched and his teeth clacked together tightly, then he relaxed slowly, unconscious.

K'ner breathed fully in... out... "Step one..."


{Bridge }

Walking away from the view screen, she stopped at the laugh coming behind her. Mira’s eyes darted to Chin who just shook his head no. It hadn’t been his doing. He wasn’t even sure how the screen had been activated.

Mira placed a hand on her hip as she narrowed her eyes and slowly turned back to the main view screen. BY ALL THAT WAS HOLY! Her eyes widened in shock.

Another laugh sound. “So blood thirsty. Of all the creatures in the universe for you to pick? You went green. I must say I look very good in green.” the woman nodded to someone off the view screen.

Mira’s stomach tightened at seeing a ….. well a Psychotic version of herself. “Angel,” was about all Mira could get out.

Angel smiled, “good morning . I had been hoping we would run into each other.” Her hand removed a piece of lint off her clothes then her eyes met Mira.

Mira’s throat went dry at that moment. When she was sure her voice would sound calm she said, “Oh and here I was just trying to get back what’s mine.”

Another laugh, “you are adorable. So what have you missed placed or did it run away?”

Mira winced, her son had been kidnapped, but her husband? Well she hoped he had been Kidnapped as well. The thought of Kevin running away from her hurt to much to think about . “My son was Kidnapped.”

Angel nodded running her fingers through her long black hair. “Is that all you lost?” Her voice had a purr to it Mira didn’t like.

“My husband …….” Before Mira could say more Angel laughed again. “I can not imagine you married to a human and him of all people!” Her tone wasn’t very happy at the idea. What would she have against Kevin?

“Him of all people?” Mira asked confused

“Oh, this is priceless. You don’t know! Well, I will not give the surprise away. Your husband is on the planet below. Your son is in a prison cell” She waved a hand around. Like maybe the cell was some place.

Mira panicked at the idea that Jason hadn’t been with Kevin all this time. It was that idea they were together that had made all this time lost bearable. “Angel, have you ever heard of a saying ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend?’” Mira asked her carefully . “from what information I got the Emperor took my son. He is my enemy. I want my son back.”

“And you think that because he is my enemy that we should be friends?” Angel didn’t look convinced at all. “It would be interesting having a twin around. Can you imagine what kind of destruction we could cause together?”

Now there Mira thought was look of a completely psychotic woman.

“All my carefully laid plans have been destroyed. There was to be this huge celebration with battles, bloodshed and death. The Emperor has this celebrations every few years. I was going to get another chance at killing him. But before I could he ran off world.” She gave Mira a look like she trying to see if she was the one that messed things all up. Tapping her fingers on her command chair in thought, she added “There is a prison compound down on the surface. They should have the information on your son.” Then with a laugh, the screen went back to the view of the planet.

Mira cursed. “find her ship!”

“it’s not showing up on scans, Captain.” Chin told her.

Mira closed her eyes for a moment. She was beyond frustrated. Slowly she opened her eyes to look at Montgomery, “Fine. Information from our guest first, And then I am going down there.” She pointed her thumb over her shoulder to the planet below.

Montgomery nodded "you can't trust her."

"I know. We can't trust anyone here." Mira told him while she walked off the bridge
