Mira rolled her eyes at the comment of that’s why you get the big bucks. She had heard that a few times and it always meant passing the problem to someone else.

“First priority is get off this ghost making planet.” She raised and eyebrow at him and hid her smile behind the mug.

Her PADD gave a little beep. Looking down at the readings it would seem there was a malfunction in her suit from that ghost charge that hit her. She tapped in a command to restart the EV suit systems. It would only take a few moments to reboot. At least she hoped that was all it was going to take.

=/\= Captain we found another hidden wall with more carvings and designs on it.=/\=

Mira disconnected her PADD and let the suit go through its diagnostic.

Watching as the images showed up on the PADD she nodded.

“These are even closer to the Delazari language I remember.” She sat back with a frown as she read. “This planet was part of the Delazari Nation. It had all we needed to survive. Beautiful weather, lush forests, water more then we could ever use and a cave systems that we choose to carve out the heart of our colony. A fresh started for us all away from the wars of the past. Then the storms came, turning the light to dark. It grew cold and we must have angered our gods.” Mira stopped reading “so perhaps they were the first to awaken the entity or the entity found them.”

Awal nodded as the story unfolded, “what do you remember of that world in the Matrix?”

Mira frowned. “If the people they had taken captive in the Matrix were the same as these people then they were very strong and large. Average about six foot to seven foot tall. Black hair darker tan skin. Fighting was an art form. They were always in one war or another. So if this group left all that behind then they wanted freedom. In the Matrix they had huge caves they dictated to growing crops.”

“But we didn’t see any sites of that,” Awal told her.

Mira frowned, “ they are there some where. Hidden doorways leading to the farm area. I am betting some of the equipment its hidden there too along with a dampening field. But they would have lived simple. Life was to be simple and hard enough to harden their people. An easy life meant soft easy people. They wanted strong warriors.”

She have a little shrug. Her time there hadn’t been pleasant. “With the power cut I am betting the building is damaged and I hate to think of what condition our shuttle is in. We might need to take one of the ships here then have the Norris beam us aboard the ship since it will not be able to dock on our ship. Probably better for decontamination but we are going to be spending time in the decon room.

As K'ner watched Mova fall backwards, complete with an expletive, she heard the other Ensign talking to the Capt about another wall with carvings and angled to get view to watch each. That quickly resulted in a stalemate and she gestured to Lt Walker to keep an eye on Ensign Mova while she went to see what symbols might be on this new section. . .

Kitaro pointed as soon as K'ner approached. An expanse of wall had shifted, the seams virtually invisible along the striations of the rock. "The additional symbology help?"

Kitaro nodded. "The more examples we have, the faster the equipment can work out a structure. This would be simpler and faster on the ship, but the storm has knocked out comms for now. Unless I miss my guess, it's telling a story. There's a sequence to the depictions... of time. My gut is telling me this is important, maybe the answer to a few of our questions about what happened here, at least in the past; which could reveal a clue about the terraformers."

He shrugged. "Or it could be a recipe for beer..."

K'ner shook her head, mumbling something about ...beer... while she looked over the sequence. The Captain would probably have a much better idea without all the technical gee-gaws... probably who Kitaro was quietly speaking with as he panned his tricorder across the wall.

Holding out her hand, the built-in probes fed data to her forearm PADD, collating data and streaming the results to her HUD. She continued along the section, then angled behind the shifted wall section. The data-stream changed somewhat and she waved back over it, slower this time.
