Mission:
The days of our lives

If she hadn’t been familiar with this particular Klingon ship, she would have been lost. Mira knew this ship and she followed Vaytoc right where she needed to be.
The doors to the room opened. There sat five of her teammates around the table. Well, ex teammates actually, Mira corrected herself. They all looked like they had been waiting for them to arrive.
K'ner casually scanned the room, actually recognizing two she'd seen before, and pieces were fitting together.
Mira frowned at them all. “What the hell is going on?” Her temper was getting the better of her.
Isbethal smirked. “I told you that you were needed for a mission. Now we are on the mission.” The woman was calm, too calm really. She acted like kidnapping them all was an every day occurrence. Perhaps, to Isbethal, it was.
“I told you no. That I have a family to consider first. What? You just decided to just whine about it because I didn’t want to leave my mate and children. Then decide to take me against my will? Yeah, I don’t think so. That’s not going to work. Where are my kids and Kevin!” By the time that little speech was done, Mira was screaming.
Isbethal raised an eyebrow. “I sent the kids to Thor’s ship and, because I am so nice, I insured their nanny was with them and your Brother’s wife and child. I wasn’t sure if you had bonded to both cats, so we brought them both.” She said it so reasonably as if they should all be happy. “Kevin, well he is a grown man and can take care of himself.” She gave a little shrug of her shoulder.
Mira growled, setting off both cats into their own growls. It oddly matched Mira’s, only it continued and was probably far more impressive than hers. But, by all that was holy, Vaytoc and spike were backing her up in their anger. K'ner and Awal resonated with it as well.
Tolock frowned looking from Mira to the cats then back at his Captain. “I thought she was on board with the plan, boss?” His Klingon brown eyes narrowed at Isbethal. He was their weapons officer and anytime they needed anything, he got it. You just knew better than to ask how he got it.
“She is on board? She just doesn’t know it yet.” Isbethal said, dismissing Her first officers complaint.
Section 31, Mira thought far too angry to be amused by their underhandedness. There had been a time she might have laughed this all off. She would have found out what the mission was about and just done it.
Now, she just wanted to see her babies grow up and be there for them. How much time was she going to miss?
Cursing is considered a fine art among Klingons. A game called curse warfare (mu’qaD veS). It had rules, of course. Find the best curse for the situation you was in.
“Qu’vatlh ghe’’orDaq luSpet ’oH DaqlIj’e’.” basically, she cursed, then told them you belong in a black hole in the netherworld.
Tolock frowned. “What happened to you? You were always the fun one.” He folded his arms of his chest.
“I grew up and became a mother. Take us back now.” Mira snapped out.
Isbethal huffed. “Can’t, we are on a time line. YOU can either help us get those woman back or you can sit in your quarters until it’s done.”
Tolock frowned “Your plan isn’t going to work if she isn’t there.” He told Isbethal.
Mira looked back at K’ner and Awal then stepped forward and punched Isbethal so hard it knocked her out of her seat. Mira was surprised she had split Isbethal’s lip and made a good size wound in that area. Mira glanced down at her hand it would seem Kevin’s engagement ring took its pound of flesh.
“How long?” Mira growled with a good deal of anger.
“3 days.” Vaasha hissed her Caitian displeasure as Isbethal Slowly picked herself off the floor. Her hand wiping the blood from her lip.
Mira raised an eyebrow. 3 days wasn’t too bad until she remembered Thor was on a tight schedule and had to make a few stops on his way back to Earth. If her kids was headed to Earth and they were headed to Orion space. 3 days was BS. “bull crap. What planet are we headed to?”
“Relva Vlll”
Mira shook her head and turned back to K’ner and Awal “Crap that’s the worst Orion world I know of.”
K'ner nodded. "Agreed. We should find out the details of this... plan... and what led up to it." Her glance wandered back over the Captain's ex-crewmates to see Isbethal watching the back and forth.
Tolock looked on incredulously. "We?? Boss, this wasn't the plan. What's with all the dead weight? They're not prepped for this!"
Isbethal's expression didn't reflect the amusement in her reply. "I told you this one would be interesting Tolock. I just didn't know how very much til now. Bring up the map... I'm curious what they think of the... plan..."
K'ner kept a wary eye out as Tolock stepped to a console. She could practically feel Awal on alert to one side and left him to watch that flank and Bravo the rest. K'ner split her attention between Mira and this new crew, wondering just who was gonna throw the first blade.
"I take it you have a cloaking device on this vessel?" K'ner asked, keeping up the conversation.
Isbethal replied in an even tone. "Yes."
"And I'm guessing you've embellished the regular armament loadout with some surprises of your own?"
"Yes."
'So that's how it's gonna be,' K'ner thought. "And you have medical facilities prepared to receive these captive women in the event they're not in a healthy state? Klingon vessels aren't known for investing a lot on med-care when those funds could go towards more arms and armor..."
"Yes."
If K'ner hadn't been specifically watching for the tell, she probably wouldn't have seen it. And perhaps she was wrong but Isbethal was probably counting on not having to deal with them long, so her idea of medical supplies was likely a medkit and some band-aids.
"And if others are also incarcerated with them?"
Isbethal huffed. "We're here for the women taken. Any others are not my affair."
K'ner signaled Vaytoc to stay next to Mira as he started to rise. He looked like he was reading her tension and ready to deal with the problem in his own way. Spike had his butt against Awal's leg so he'd know the instant his Klingon master moved.
"Whatever happens, it's going to be fast, and soon I take it?"
"Yes."
"Can you say anything but yes?"
"Yes."
K'ner turned slightly to the others. "I knew she was gonna say that."
Mira chuckled, relieved that K'ner had taken over. It had given her a few much needed moments to calm down. “base station plans?” Mira rubbed the bridge of her nose with her middle finger. “And why the hell do you need me?” Mira asked still fighting anger.
Tolock tosses her a very small 3in by 4in bag with what looked like stickers. Her eye met his in question because she had no idea what these were. He chuckled. “Your costume. No one but whisper could wear that.”
Mira’s eyes narrowed as her blade came out easily cutting the package in half. “Not in your most perverted dream, jerk. Whisper would never put that on."
Tolock smirked as his eyes looking down at her body. “A man can dream.”
Vaasha shook her head then reached behind her, pulling two rather skimpy costumes out. Mira frowned at them. They weren’t as bad as some bathing suits she had worn on Risa, but still. “why?”
Vaasha frown. “We” thinking better of including herself in this idea, she changed it corrected herself. ”They got you a job in a night club as a dancer. And it’s on the Planet, not the base station.”
Mira just watched her like a snake thinking of striking. Sensing her anger Vaytoc growled. Mira dropped one hand to his head. “I am going to ask one more time before I shed blood. Why?”
Isbethal frowned. “I need all eyes on you. We are going to change your hair color, eye color, and make slight changes to your face to make Ngalal think of you. The REAL you. Probably the only way he would leave his men behind would be the possibility of spending time with you. He was one of the men behind the plans to take you and the other woman. He will not be able to resist. After you perform he will follow you out and I will kill him. Once he is dead then Gossa will tell us where the woman are.”
Mira frown. “Ngalal is Gossa’s boss. Why couldn’t you just beat the information out of him.” Mira asked still confused about all the ‘why’ her brain was coming up with. Why take her when she was 19?
“He is Orion, they enjoy torture and torturing people.” She told Mira like she should already know that..
Mira knew that, they had tortured her enough to remember that. Picking up the PADD with all the information of the city they would be entering and the planet they was going to. She handed it to K’ner who started scanning over it.
“Have you found out why they took me in the first place?” Mira asked, hiding how shook up she was about all of this.
Tolock answered. “Your twin, Angela.”
Mira frown. “I don’t have a twin. The only Angela I know is my mirror universe self and she is a deadly assassin. Perhaps even far more deadly than all of you put together.” Mira raised an eyebrow after she delivered that bit of information. “I want to contact Kevin. He needs to know where I am and I need to know my children are ok.”
Isbethal frowned, shaking her head no. “We need to be in black out. IF it helps any, Kevin is being sent on his own little mission. And seeing the look on your face, he didn’t tell you.”
Mira shook her head no. “no way. We are getting married. He proposed and I said yes.”
Tolock huffed. “well, there goes the fun I had planned this trip.”
Before Mira could react. Awal’s hand shot out and connected with Tolock’s face, sending the other man stumbling back. “You will remember she is my sister and captain. Try anything, it will be a contest to see who kills you first. Commander Kevin Lance or myself?”
K'ner raised her hand ever so slightly, waving it back and forth subtly...
Mira was slightly surprised by the damage Awal had done with one punch until she remembered that was a Prosthetic hand.
She smiled "Vaytoc might want to be involved as well."
He pulls his favorite hunting knife from his leg, so who's pretty face goes first says Awal.
Ignoring the Klingon leaning heavily on the wall and trying not to slide to the floor, K'ner glances up from the PADD, "I see you've marked some locations... safe-houses? Possible rendezvous? Fallback positions? Arms & equipment cache? Where is this Ngalal, the club, and Gossa's locations? Any guesses on the captives, held together or apart?" K'ner kept firing off tactical queries as fast as she got answers...
Mira frowned as she looked over the screen at the map.
Leave it to Isbethal to mark all the places and not tag them.
She pointed to a place almost center in the city. That would be ‘Hell’s pit’. The bar filled with every kind of low life there is. My guess is Gossa did something to really anger Ngalal, so he isn’t on this planet or probably in Orion space.” Mira’s eyes met Vaasha, just in time to see some surprise on her feline face.
Still looking at the map, Mira asked, “So, say everything in your half-assed plan works. He goes after me and you happen to kill him. How are we getting out?” This time, she looked at Isbethal.
The woman shrugged. “We fade into the darkness and leave. Meet up with the ship.” She waved her hand around her, indicating the ship they are on. “Then go….”
Mira’s eyes hardened. “Where is Gossa?”
“Earth Outpost 3” Tolock told her.
Mira closed her eyes. “Then you are headed there afterwards to get the information. That’s more than 3 days. And then what?”
“I kill Gossa and get the females back.” Isbethal told her with narrowed eyes.
Mira rubbed her forehead. “I need a Raktajino and food.” Her head was killing her. "You remind me of a group of Pandas.” Mira muttered.
Tolock frowned. “That is the worst curse I have ever heard.”
Nod grinned. “She just said you are an embarrassment. That’s what a group of Pandas is called.”
As the confused Klingon tried to gauge the level of the remark, K'ner cleared her throat. "There is one more matter to clarify."
As eyes turned her way... "Angela."
Mira frowned thinking about that then she cursed. “But she is in the mirror universe. That’s not an easy place to get to or get out of….”
Mira frowned. “I know of two ways to get in, but they are both in and near DS9. We are no where near there.”
VVassha purred. “There is another.”
Mira held up a hand. “I don’t want to know. We just need to find out where the women are.”
“and if they are in the mirror universe?” Tolock asked her.
Mira closed her eyes and shook her head. “Then, you should have brought Kevin. I am not leaving him to go off on some crazy mission.”
