lt commander Jeffrey Montgomery rubbed his tired eyes. He nodded to G'ginloss as the Klingon walked onto the bridge. "How was the hunt?"
"Odd, but enjoyable. Not the same as hunting on Qo’noS. That is very enjoyable. You should take your turn now."
Jeff winced. "Yeah, I prefer to do my vacations and down time in the holodeck. Being off the ship isn't my thing."
G'ginloss frowned. "Well, tell the.....guardians what you want and spend the day down there. it's like Holodeck Planet. Just stay away from the people with these headsets on. It covers their eyes and goes into their ears. I'm not sure what is up with them. We do have a few crewmen who haven't reported back. If you want to spend your free time looking for them."
Montgomery looked to the communications officer t'shik. "How many haven't reported in?"
"Five are late reporting in, sir."
t'shik told him, causing him to frown.
"How late and who?" He asked with a little concern.
"Six hours, Sir. Ensign Diego Rodriguez, Ensign Darcy Williams, Ensign Mitch Campbell, Ensign Tasha Franks, and Ensign Keda elb." t'shik tone was neutral as always
Montgomery nodded. " So 4 humans and one Bajoran. Six hours isn't a good sign. If it had just been Rodriguez, I would say he is drunk someplace or with a woman. Maybe even both."
t'shik frowned, touching her earpiece. "Sir, Chin and Amy have found Ensign Darcy Williams and Ensign Mitch Campbell, There...." She cleaned her throat. "Amy is calling them zombies. Something about a game they are playing. Rodriguez was with them and in the same condition, but reports have him going off with a Lizard woman?"
Montgomery shook his head. "Rodriguez will be taken off the R & R rotations."
G'ginloss nodded.
{Amri V. Center City. Kanbu hotel}
Zimia was giving Awal and Dianna a few moments alone, so she took Venus to the pool. Venus had her little vest on to keep her afloat. "Dada and Moma will be down in a few moments."
Zimia smiled. "We should talk them into having a date night." Zimia noticed there were more people with the headset than without now.
[Amri V. - Center City - Kanbu Hotel - Room 102]
The soft hum of the city outside filtered through the windows of Room 102 at the Kanbu Hotel. The room was modest but cozy, with two beds pushed against the opposite walls, a small table in the center, and a baby crib beside one of the beds. The late afternoon sunlight cast a warm glow, accentuating the serene atmosphere.
Lieutenant JB Dersch sat on one of the beds, carefully adjusting the blanket around one-month-old Katie Ann Marie, who was nestled comfortably in the crib. His wife, Freya Dersch, stood near the window, looking out at the bustling cityscape, lost in thought.
Twelve-year-old Katie Dersch sat cross-legged on the other bed, her tablet in her lap as she sketched a scene of the city from memory. Her auburn hair fell in soft waves around her face, and she occasionally glanced over at her baby sister, a smile tugging at her lips.
JB looked up from the crib, his eyes softening as he watched his family. "Freya, come sit with us," he said, patting the space next to him.
Freya turned, her expression relaxing into a smile as she crossed the room to join him. She sat down and leaned against JB, their shoulders touching. "It’s good to be together"
Katie looked up from her drawing, her eyes bright with curiosity. "Dad, can we go explore the city later? I saw a museum on the map that looks really cool."
JB chuckled, reaching out to ruffle her hair. "We can definitely plan a trip, but let’s see how Katie Ann Marie is doing first. We don’t want to overwhelm her."
Freya nodded in agreement, her gaze shifting to their youngest daughter. "She seems to be settling in well. Maybe a short walk around the block would be nice."
Katie beamed, excited at the prospect of an adventure. "I can’t wait to show her everything! She’s going to love it here."
The baby stirred in her crib, her tiny fingers flexing as she made soft cooing sounds. JB gently picked her up, cradling her in his arms. "Looks like someone’s waking up. Hey there, little one," he whispered, his voice full of affection.
Freya reached out to stroke Katie Ann Marie’s cheek, her touch gentle and loving. "She’s growing so fast. It feels like just yesterday she was born."
Katie leaned in closer, her eyes wide with wonder as she watched her baby sister. "Hi, Katie Ann Marie," she said softly. "I’m your big sister, Katie. We’re going to have so much fun together."
JB looked at his family, his heart swelling with pride and love. "We’ve got a lot of great times ahead of us," he said, his voice full of promise. "And it starts right here, in this little hotel room on Amri V."

[Kronnelti personal quarters]
Dianna and Awal came back from talking to find Zimia playing with Venus.
She looked up at Dianna and said she talked with Venus to let you two have a night to yourselves.
Dianna smiled and did my little Venus agree with it? She chuckles
Venus was too busy playing to notice them, Awal agreed and said let's go out for a bit.
Zimia is there anything you would like us to bring back to you? Asked Awal
Zimia smiled, " I think I'll order room service tonight. You two really do need time to have fun. Spike and I will take good care of Venus. " Zimia had the adjoining room to Awal and Dianna's suit in the Hotel.
Venus slap the water with a grin. "dadadada," she giggled.
Zimia smiled at Awal. "Oh, she is a daddy's girl!"
Awal smiled, that's a very scary thing to know he chuckled.
Just before they left both Dianna and Awal gave Venus a hug and kiss and told her to behave for auntie Zimia.
Spike enjoy whatever Zimia orders you said Awal.
The door closed after they left and went out to enjoy a night to themselves.
{Amri V, Center City, Kanbu hotel, pool deck}
Zimia grinned at Venus. "You are getting getting water logged. It's time for us to go upstairs. Despite the little frown she got, Zimia picked her up and started to dry her off.
Ensign Chin came running up to them. "Have you seen Rodriguez?"
Zimia shook her head and picked Venus up. "Now, why would you think I would see that jerk. If you manage to lose him, be happy. Your vacation just improved!"
Chin frowned "No he had one of these headsets on, and he is overdo for a check-in. He went off with a lizard woman, and I am not sure he is in his right mind."
Zimia shook her head. "Sorry I haven't seen him. Start checking the hotel rooms, " she told him with a little laugh.
As Zimia walked back to her room, she tickled Venus "Well looks like mister trouble is now introuble."
{Amri V, Center City, Kanbu Hotel, Room 301}
Zimia had gotten the little girl cleaned up and down for a nap. Spike was curled up next to the girl. "Some day, I would like to have a family." Being an orphan, she had not known what family was all about until she joined the Norris. Now she was happy.

Both Awal and Dianna were having a great night out, finishing the night with dinner after going out to the local theater.
They both ordered desserts to go, two slices of strawberry cheesecake and two slices of death by chocolate.

Both Awal and Dianna walk into the room, they find Spike curled up next to Venus.
They ask Zimia how she was then surprised her with her choice of desert either strawberry cheesecake or death by chocolate.
"Oh yes Death by chocolate!" Zimia told them
"Did you both have fun?" Zimia asked with a grin. They both looked relaxed and happy.
Zimia and Venus had a very fun evening playing in the hotel room.
We had fun said Dianna, we went out to a theater for a play then dinner at restaurant A5.
With all these missions almost back to back it's good to get out and relax said Awal.
We can't thank you enough Zimia said Dianna. You've been the best auntie to Venus.

Kolar is sweet too but that little boy loves to be stubborn. he loves to shake his head no then he giggles. Venus is just happy all the time. "

K'ner stood lightly tapping her foot. She had originally thought she'd wait out the crewman with the ludicrous headset on, but she was running out of her otherwise endless patience. Pulling out her baton, she tapped it on the frame of the headset. She was prepared for the spark, but apparently the crewman was not. He jumped and fell back like he'd been body-slammed by a kaymondo.
K'ner became concerned when he continue to lie back, twitching, his eyes unfocused and darting back and forth. The combat medic in her came to the fore and she waved over Chbet as she began her assessment.
"I'm headed back to the ship with Ensign Keda elb," she said, pointing at the supine body. "This silly headset seems to be having some unacceptable effects. Keep an eye out and keep me updated."
Chbet nodded and passed on the request to those of the team that was planet-side.
