We’re going on a mission!

Personal log, Stardate 48315.6

Its been a wild few weeks. I’m now on my 15th day, and I’ve been told by the others that we’re again going on a mission. And worst of all? I’m going to have to go with them. On an alien planet. With primitive barbarians using rocks and spears. I’m altogether not feeling very positive about it at the moment.

Sure, this is why I joined Starfleet, but, especially after what happened in my first few days on the ship, I’m beginning to doubt what I’m capable of.

I was thinking that I might try to transfer to the station, and simply serve the crew when they’re back from missions. I’ve decided I’ll at least try this mission, and if it absolutely fails, I’ll move.

Oh, and they had to poke me with needles yesterday. Like seriously? Can’t they just like paint our faces or something? Why the Gene Therapy? It sounds like something out of an old 20s horror film.

We’re leaving in a few days when everyone’s gene therapies are complete. Will update with more.
