At the top of the cell, Mira used her legs to hold herself up. She had found that she could reach what looked like the electrical system. If she could get the outer doors open. Sparks set off everywhere. Mira cursed as she pulled her hands away to cover her face. "son of a targ!"

She felt strong hands grab her waist. "Are you done intertaining yourself? Now we are in the dark." Kronnelti told her.

Mira frowned. "That didn't go as planned."

Kronnelti chuckled "well you managed to kill thier lights you taught them a lesson they will never forget."

Mira smirked. "Funny thing is they will more than likely blame you. Because I am the good kid you are not." She laughed

"They just don't know you yet." Kronnelti told her.

Mira nodded. "True. Plans. I need plans! How are you so calm?"

Kronnelti smirked. " I am planning on all the ways I can kill my enemies."

Mira shook her head, " Ok .....Then I'll plan on leading a revolution! 50 years' worth! I'll have this world back in the right time."

Kronnelti reached up after putting Mira down, he pulls another wire (klink with an errie opening sound). Mira try opening the cell now.

She pushes on it nope still locked she said but how can you do that without seeing she asked.

No clue, he said just as he pulled another wire, which unlocked the cell.

You know why I shot up everything? They were trying to force that water on me, and I'm not drinking something that turns me into a zombie.

Fair, she said.

He finds a flashlight, a riot shield, and his Bowie knife and ax.

Ah, now I'm better. Mira, take the light and stay between me and the shield we are busting out of here.

Mira nodded, grabbing the rest of their devices. they may not work here, but they couldn't leave sensitive material around. " If the air is poisoned, we need some of the water to keep us alive. Our bodies will become accustomed to it, and fewer memories are lost each time. Otherwise, our enemies win, and we lose by dying. We have families that need us."

He holds his flask up, not if we got this as he takes a shot, he tosses it to Mira then she takes a shot.

She makes a face as the whiskey goes down.
"That is the worst whiskey I have ever tasted. I LOVE whiskey that's not good." Mira told him.

They start making their way down the corridor to the first door which was open. This must be what opened, Mira nodded.

It looks like the cell area was the only area that went dark.

Mira peaks around the shield, it looks clear she said. Kronnelti nodded

"Ok this time we go up. No ever thinks to look up and we do it quietly." Mira commented. "Not sure where we should go." The couldn't really put on disguises because Kronnelti was to tall.

Ok we go up he whispers, slipping past the door there is a desk on the left with paperwork.

Do you want to snag those papers? Asked Kronnelti

Mira ducks n rolls to the desk and snatched them up. She quickly looked them over, they have pictures of us including our ranks.

"How do they know so much about us?" Something wasn't adding up.

Great he said, I really hope Kevin has a plan to bring us back said Kronnelti. Let's keep moving and hold onto those.


Staying alert they kept going down the hallway till they come to a fork in the road. Shit which way left, right or straight he asked.

"Right. It makes sense....I think." The buildings all are all long here."

Ok he said so Kronnelti and Mira turned right.

They keep going, 100ft...200ft....300ft. how long is this he asked.

Mira frowned "I don't know. I wasn't awake when they brought us in. Maybe I picked wrong?"

They kept going until Kronnelti see's a door just ahead.

Both line up against the wall as Mira quietly opens the door to peak in.

First thing she sees is what looks to be the security room but doesn't see anybody inside.

She slips in with Kronnelti right behind her, he can't believe what they see.

They have weapons... but they don't use them? Mira this might be our ticket, you can dress up as a lieutenant and have me as your prisoner. (Han solo and chewy reference)

I think it will work said Kronnelti. He takes a couple of pistols and a rifle off the wall, he opens a few drawers and just saw what was alphabetical order on ammunition.

"This place makes no sense." She access the system "Awal this can't be right it said we are one million years in the past! Kevin will never be able to find us."

This is Kevin we are talking about, he will figure out a way and won't stop till he finds us said Kronnelti.

But damn. Wait remember that protector guy talking about a machine that can send things or people places.

But we are getting out of here and if I have to take down a few hundred I will he said.

Mira bit her lip. "It's a million years of time, Awal." No one could do that. She grabbed a few weapons, and ammo dumped them in a bag. "Let's go up and over the city. I need open space."

Let's go he said as he goes back out the door.

He keeps the shield in front of him now with Mira behind him.

This time he asks right or straight when they get to the fork in the hallway.

Straight she said, are you positive? Yes, ok he said.

Kronnelti keeps going straight then the hallway turns right. Mira there is stairs leading up, we may have found our way out OR right into their lap.

Mira pushed the door open. It led to the roof. She gave a sigh in relief. "That ls the direction we want to go. We will check out as much of the city as possible while it's still dark. Then we should hide"
