Zimia was amazed at the energy Little Kolar had. The little boy was into everything. Mira had dragged all her weapons that Kolar could reach and put them in the weapons locker that morning.

Zimia grinned Mira collected weapons like most women did shoes.

The ship started shaking and she grabbed Kolar heading to find Dianna to make sure she was alright.

{Kronnelti quarters}
Zimia found Dianna in her room wondering what was going on, honey dear what's happening?

Why is the ship shaking like this? Is this normal? Asked Dianna.

Zimia shook her head no. "I asked Chin but he just said they had to go and get Mira and Awal. He didn't say anything about this!"
Zimia sat on the floor holding Kolar who had started to cry. Vaytoc was rubbing his face on the boy and purring to calm him.

Zimia come to the bed, it's softer.

So she took kolar to the bed and Vay'toc followed, Dianna started to softly sing ( hush little baby ) Kolar stopped crying and started to smile and laugh.

I didn't know you sing said Zimia. I don't sing often Dianna said.

Spike sound asleep unbothered by the ship shaking, Vay'toc rested his head on Dianna's lap as she stroked his furry head.

I hope their ok wherever Mira and Kroger is. Even though Dianna is sitting on the bed her tummy has doubled in size.

When are you due? asked Zimia

Just a few more months and we're still undecided on a name.

She hands her a list of names as Zimia looks at it she stopped at her name and reads it out loud.

Zimia Venus Kronnelti

"Oh wow that is pretty. Venus Zimia Kronnelti is pretty to. It's got to be really hard to give a baby a name. No wonder it takes so long to pick out the right name. " She put her hand on the wall. "Looks like we have gotten wherever we need to be. At least the ship isn't falling apart." Zimia bit her lip.

I see you picked up Mira's lip biting she chuckled, yes naming a baby is difficult as both parents or sometimes one parent has to name them.

Venus Zimia Kronnelti does have a ring to it.

Vay'toc got up off of Dianna, let's go for a walk I'm due for one and I'm hungry too. Spike honey time for a walk, he stretches as he gets up and joins everyone.

It's getting harder to walk around she said as she has one hand on her back and the other one on her tummy.

Bing her padd goes off, Zimia dear can you get that and read it for me please.

Mrs Kronnelti please come to medical for your check up.

Dianna forgot about that, let's get going they probably want to see the progress on Venus and get her name too.

Zimia nodded as she put Kolar on her hip and followed Dianna out.

"ma ma ma" Kolar jabbering as they walked.

"Ma ma working... she be back." Zimia told him.

"Da da?" Kolar asked

Zimia smiled. " he working. He will be back soon."
Kolar grinned and shook his head, no, making Zimia laughed "Yes, he is." she told him.

Ma ma and da da are working you little munchkin said Dianna.

{med bay}

Both Vay'toc and spike sat outside medical as Dianna, Zimia and Kolar go in. Zimia sat off to the side keeping him busy.

Nurse Becky walks in with a chart on Dianna, good afternoon and hopefully everyone was ok from that shaking and I see you've grown from the last time I saw you.

Yea it's been a trip she said, this back pain is something else she said.

Well we are here to check up on Venus said Dianna. Venus Zimia Kronnelti

What a beautiful name Becky said as she starts to take vitals on Dianna.

Ok you are doing good, I've never seen a pregnancy go so well she said. I try said Dianna and I've had some help too as Kolar starts cooing.

Becky pulls down a special machine and asks Dianna to lay down as the machine makes a humming noise.

All the information comes up on a screen and Zimia couldn't believe her eyes on it all.

That's a lot of information she said. Oh yes before back in old earth the process was well time consuming.

A note popped up on Becky's padd. Well it looks like Venus will be coming in the next few days said.

You are right at that point were you should be getting contractions soon.

Dianna couldn't believe it Venus is right on time, and she weighs about 6lbs 8 oz. That's one healthy baby said Becky.

Thank you for coming in she said. No thank you for reminding me as we were about to get something to eat.

Becky smiled that's my job she chuckled. When you do start those contractions I want you to come in and I take it the lieutenant is off on another mission.

That can't be helped but stay safe, and I'll be seeing you soon too little man for your check up. He hides his face in Zimia's uniform.

{Mess hall}
Zimia got finger foods for Kolar. Mira had explained that if it was soft and small, kolar could pick it up and put it in his mouth
He was messy. Zimia got herself a sandwich. It seemed like the easiest to eat as she fed Kolar.
"I can't believe your baby is going to be here in days." Zimia told her

Dianna just got some fruit and yogurt. It's been a journey she said.

Just wish my husband was here too, I hope he makes it back before Venus comes.

I must say you have been doing a good job at watching Kolar said Dianna

"Thanks He is so much fun and activated. He reminds me so alot of Mira with all her energy and curiosity. He seems to understand Trill and Klingon. She wants him using federation standard first, so we are working on that. He needs a baby chair." She sat him on her lap in front of the food. "As to your baby can't you just not have her until he comes back?"

Dianna smiled I wish that would happen but when Venus is ready my body will start doing it's thing.

As she says that a sharp pain hits her hard. Zimia call medical I think it's starting to happen as Dianna's water breaks.

Zimia shook her head "No no no we just went to the doctor, and Awal isn't here. Crap!" she tapped her commbadge. "Emergency medical transport for Dianna Kronnelti to medical. " As Dianna looked down at Kolar, she frowned. "Oh, I should be with Dianna, but what do I do with you, little guy?"

Just then, Chin walked in the room. "Oh good here to take him!"

Chin frowned. "Now, wait a minute, you said you were going to watch him, and I took your shift."

Zimia nodded. "Now Dianna is in labor. Do you want to babysit or hold Dianna's hand while she has the baby?"

Chin took the baby. "Well, if those are my choices, I'll take him. But why isn't Rodriguez watching him?" Chin asked, confused.

Zimia shook her head. "I don't think Commander Lance would like him to watch his son."
"Oh right ok little buddy, let's get you cleaned up, and we will go to the gym." Chin said.

(Medical)

Dianna arrives into medical and the staff preps her for the delivery.

As she is laying down they noticed she was 6 center meters, ma'am we are going to numb you for this delivery.

A special numbing agent was applied and a Lazer cut 2 inches down, ok Dianna push.

As she is pushing Zimia was holding her hand, Dianna starts screaming as she is pushing grasping Zimia's hand.

Keep going said Becky your doing good. Nurse Jill I need a towel please. She hands the towel as Dianna keeps pushing, Venus's head comes out first with a gush of blood.

Almost there one more push, Dianna starts swearing and cursing Awal as Venus slides out.

Becky holds up Venus and tell her you have a healthy 6lb 8oz baby girl.

Medical cheered as this was the first newborn on the Chuck Norris.

Zimia was wide eyed. Just like that a new breathing real person was here. Still that was alot of work " How are you feeling?" She asked softly "She is so little."

Better as she's crying while holding her little one. Venus already knew where to go as she clamps down on Dianna and starts feeding.

Zimia smiled "Ok I'll let you two rest and go get Kolar. I set up a play room for him in the briefing room. Mira does most her reading in there and it give kolar more room to play."
