"We need water!" Mira said happily.
"NO, I think that isn't just water. No more water." Kronnelti told her, taking both her hands in his.
Mira blinked, "But....."
But nothing he said, you have a mate to get back to!
And by the way, Mira, you are trill, and i am a klingon, that's why you don't have wrinkles. As for you being my sister, it's true, but you're my adoptive sibling.
He knew she'd put up a fight when she gets strange, so he picked her up and over the shoulder she goes.
As for the bad things, that's why I'm chief of security to protect your ass.
Suddenly the music stops and those around started to swarm Kronnelti trying to stop him but nobody could as he just kept walking away.
Everyone kept trying to offer the water to Kronnelti, but he kept refusing.
( Think of the dwarfs from the wizard of Oz but with helium voices)
Get the hose one yelled, Mira asked what the hose was for, it's to help those who can't help themselves.
Oh, no, thought Kronnelti, this is going to be bad
" I don't think I want the hose," Mira mumbled.
As they bring out the hose, the chief of security hightails it out with Mira still on his shoulders.
"I think we should go up," Mira told him, looking up at the roof tops.
"That's not the way back to the pad." Kronnelti told her.
"I think the city changes. I keep getting lost here." Mira frowned "Their still following us." Her head was really starting to hurt. " If the water is bad, then the tea and soup is bad too. Because they make everything with the water from the fountain. "
"And you drank and ate all of that? Did you translate the sign on the Fountain?" Kronnelti asked her as he jogged.
Mira nodded her her head and then figured he couldn't see that. " Something about drinking your troubles away. It didn't sound bad, and everyone was drinking it. What are we supposed to drink?"
"If all goes well, we will not be here that long." Kronnelti told her.
He keeps running till he is able to find a spot to duck into.
Kronnelti takes out his own canteen, take a swig of this he said you'll be back to normal.
She nervously takes it and throws a shot back, Mira's face went green. All that is holy what the hell did you give me?
He takes it back and swigs it. Blood wine with some whiskey replied Kronnelti.
I'm the distance a war horn sounded off, looks like they haven't stopped looking for us he said. We need to get back to the pad to get back to Lance.
Something clicked in her head, she grabbed his shoulder. We need to get back to my child on the ship she said.
She nervously takes it and throws a shot back, Mira's face went green. By all that is holy. What the hell did you give me?
He takes it back and swigs it. Blood wine, with some whiskey, replied Kronnelti.
Mira frowned, that sounded so familiar. It was something she used to drunk.
In the distance, a war horn sounded off, and it looks like they haven't stopped looking for us, he said. We need to get back to the pad to get back to Lance.
Something clicked in her head, and she grabbed his shoulder. We need to get back to my child on the ship, she said!
"Kevin......and Kolar." Mira nodded. Then grinned." My son's name is Kolar!" Her head was killing her, but her memory was clearing."Why are they chasing us? I have been here for hours, and no one was chasing me. You show up, and everyone goes nuts."
Mira frowned. "There was a little old man..... he is keeping everyone trapped here and scared." Mira nodded.
Their chasing us because I refused the water, I've noticed when one drinks it they get amnesia.
What it seems is they haven't seen an angry klingon that has a phaser set to destroy....I just hope Kevin is having an easier time than us he said. Let's rest for a bit as Kronnelti started coughing, he felt something wet on his lip.
He touched it and with everything going wrong it's getting worse, Mira we have to cover our mouth nose he said as he coughs more blood up.
Mira frowned. "Why are you getting sick? I have been here a lot longer and didn't get sick... Like that. The people here said that we needed the water. Could it be what it kept me from being sick but.....gives the person drinking it amnesia like a side afect? That would be a good reason to drink it.....What if you just drank a little? Like taking medicine." She laughed." I drank a lot, then had soup and tea....I didn't know it was affecting my memory by then it was all gone. " She took off her jacket "Here cut this into stripes. We will cover our faces. How far away are we to the departure area? "
Half hour he said, but I'm in no mood with them.
Both left their hiding spot and started running for the pad. "hose them" one said as Kronnelti turned his head he whipped out his phaser and destroyed their hose and hydrant.
The people who saw this happen started screaming in horror.
The faster her memory came back, the more she was starting to feel sick. Kronnelti was holding her hand, making sure she kept up with his longer strides as he jogged. She started coughing, and she almost fell if not for him. "This place is going to kill us."
Not going to happen, several locals started throwing water bombs at the two running for the pad but Kronnelti was quick to draw and fire taking down several of them.
He swings Mira into a fireman's carry and sprinted, nobody has ever seen a klingon and they are getting terrified by the destruction Kronnelti is leaving.
The pads in view he said, hang on as he leaped up gaining distance. As he landed Mira jumped off him.
I hope we can get back she said,.
