Mission: New Captain
Location: Lounge, various
Timeline: to be determined

Ooc Emery McCoy here, please do not write for my character, if you want me to be part of another jp feel free to add me to it, but please, please don't write for my character. With this virus situation and my kids' home, I have to try to keep them entertained and learning while their schools are closed. I will answer tags as soon as possible. Thank you!

now if there's no objection I will continue the jp that someone else posted. If there are any objections please voice them and we'll figure it out.

OFF: Hey Winters here, I want to apologize to anyone who I wrote for, I see I did a little for McCoy and apologize. The last Sim I was in we could write for other characters (Not a lot of things or story arc, just usually small responses to help get a post along) But I will not do the same here as I see now. Again, sorry eh.

Auther took a couple of small sips, and then a large one out of the cup of hot chocolate that was given. The flavor was for more intense then he was expecting. The aroma tickled his nose and made him flinch ever so slightly. It was different... very different but it is a good way. He wasn't going to be able to finish it and pass full judgment on the beverage. The message that the Captain was arriving in 30 minutes finally put down a timeline for him. He placed the half drank drink down and thanked Ms. McCoy for the drink.

Emery glanced at the mug but looked again as startlement and surprise flickered over her face, but the emotion that was most present was curiosity, she looked up at him, "Was it too rich for you, do you want me to bring you something else?"

"No, I just don't have time to finish it. I'm interested in it.I was never a coffee guy, so hot chocolate is where I put my passion for hot beverages. So I usually have to try out a drink a few times before I make a judgement. However, that being said, I do like where that was going."

Emery nodded her head her expression filled with relief that he wasn't completely hating her suggestion to try the Andorion hot chocolate with the vanilla bean whipped cream. "I have an extensive list of various chocolate types that can be used for hot chocolate or other baking, be happy to go over it with you when you have time, though if you ever want to make additional suggestions feel free to let me know."

Optional tags if you Wish @Aurther Winters if not here is the last part that ties in with your previous post

They both smiled and Aurther made his way out of the mess hall. Passing through the decks of the ship was a quicker task then normal. The small ship was genuinely easy to navigate through.

Now...

Emery set the mug that the First officer returned to her unfinished under the counter in a dirty dish bin, to take to the kitchen on her next pass, she then finished making the requested Bloody Mary for M'eia and slid the frosted glass to her with a playful smile. "There you go and once the Blood wine arrives you can have first dibs on the first glass."

M'eia grinned. "Well Thank You ma'am," The young Caitain said."Just because I'm Caitain, I can't enjoy a Klingon drink." M'eia grinned.
M'eia was happy to get her first drink of the day.

Emery shook her head softly, "If I had the wine you would get it, when it arrives you will be among the first to know." She grinned, "Folks can have whatever they like if I have a way to get it too them, it doesn't matter what species you are to enjoy a good drink or meal."

Emery looked around the room, "Can I get anyone else something to eat or drink or answer any questions?"

Douglas storms into the mess hall, grumbling. He approaches the bartender and demands, "Who the hell is in charge here? I need to speak with him immediately."

Ooc Space,

here's a brief from the original post to give reference in case folks haven't read the already posted parts.

--
The bar's stock of liquor was already sorted and she had put the more exotic stuff in a case, that could be seen but folks were expected to ask before going to it.

She had several versions of the menu across the bar top, in numerous languages, including Federation basic, Vulcan, Caitian, Klingon, Bajorn, Andorian, with room to add more. The kitchen was letting the scents of pies, sauces, and other meals being prepared, filtering through the air.

A wooden plaque above her head read, "The rules are simple,
1)Don't break my dishes,
2) If you don't like the music please let me know we can negotiate a different selection.
3) Anything else ask.
