Timeline: Present

Commander Krum pulled out his PADD, "IKS Bortas leaves in a week."

Mira shook her head, "No, I am not waiting a week." By all that was holy, who knew what was happening to her little boy. She wanted him safe and happy. It was why she sent him to her cousin!

" The IKS Buruk leaves in a few days." Krum told her

"Tonight or right now. I want to leave now." Mira told him.

He shook his head. "IKS Che'Ta' leaves in two days. That is the best there is." he told her firmly.

Mira shook her head. " I'll take my own shuttle."

He shook his head. "I don't think that would be wise."

Mira downed the rest of her drink. "I don't really care what you think. This is my baby we’re talking about." Mira told him before she walked out of the bar and into the turbolift.

Weapons! she needs weapons.

Mira was surprised to see Montgomery.

He gave her a smile that turned just to a frown. "What's wrong, Captain?"
Mira didn't know him that well, so she said, "Family emergency, could you call a head and get me the fastest shuttle available.......oh, one with weapons." Mira told him as she walked into her room. Mira pulled out two bags, dumping weapons of all kinds into a bag.

"Understood, Captain." he walked back out and then turned to look at her door again as he tapped his Commbadge Lt.Commander Montgomery to Lt Commander Lance. Sir, we need to talk." What kind of family emergency would require those weapons? The captain was as pale as a ghost, right now, Montgomery thought to himself.
