Verad led her to the village center. They had a huge fire pit and chairs around in a circle. He frowned a moment. Perhaps he should take his own advice and put the chairs away. they didn't need that many out.

Hurid Tauos was the first to spot the lovely young lady at his side. "Where did you find this beauty, and why didn't you bring one for me?"
" I am Hurid, welcome." He has warm, brown eyes and brown hair with streaks of gray.
Inan Greegron came up next. He had green eyes and gray hair. Then there were two women, Saru Mors and Bami Tegrug. Both of the women had gray brown hair and blue eyes.

Bami hugged her. Mira would normally have frowned at being hugged by a complete stranger. After being on the ship for so long, she was growing used to it. Bami laughed "Oh we need to have a party to welcome you. We also need to find you some more clothing."

Saru nodded, "Oh we haven't had a reason to party for so long. This will be wonderful. If you like them, I have some beautiful kaftans." Mira smiled. “That would be wonderful. Thank you."

Inan ran off to get the book of records. Seems these people took writing down their history very seriously.

After Inan picked her brain for all she could remember, Mira walked to the cave with Verad.
It was dark and cool down here. There were three pools and so very beautiful.
Mira ran her hand in the water and was greeted by the symbionts. In the small pool in the back of the caves, the newborn symbionts. "These two are now old enough to be put in with the older Symbionts. Will you help me move them?"

"Of course," Mira told him as he climbed into the pool. Mira took the smaller Symbiont he handed her and moved it to the larger pool and watched it swim off happily.

She walked back for the next one, but when she took it in her arms, she felt an instant connection. It was lonely and wanted to see outside of the cave. "What is its name?"
Mira asked Verad
Verad smiled." She doesn't have one yet, but she is healthy, strong, and would be with you for both of your lives.
Mira was convinced that given time, she would get out of this place, but if she didn't have her memories, then she would stop trying, and if she was saved, she wouldn't remember them.
