The Director was awoken from its slumber by the insistent nagging of the Seeker.

“Director, we have discovered a previously uncatalogued biome,” the Seeker stated

“Tell me,” the Director commanded.

“It is an Oxygen-Nitrogen atmosphere with an attraction rating of 1.2 standard,” the Seeker replied, “It is odd, however, we have never encountered a biome so small. Less than one-half billion times our mass”

“The Programmers never gave us parameters for mass,” the Director responded, “Collector, send out your children.”

“As you direct,” the Collector replied.

“Architect,” the Director continued, “Prepare a new biome.”

“It will be difficult,” the Architect explained, “as I am unable to program so small a structure. I will need to simulate the area surrounding the biome to make new structure fit.”

“The area around the biome is nearly absolute vacuum and possesses no attraction,” the Seeker volunteered.

“How strange,” the Director muses but nothing he had heard violated the Programmer’s tenets, “Architect, you have your directive.”

“As you direct.”
