The start of a new adventure

After seeing Kronnelti's personal room given that it's small Dianna still wants to remain with him, she wasn't expecting to get pregnant as she never had to keep track of her womanhood.

Kronnelti sent Mira the results from medical along with a picture of a tiny embryo with a caption ( you're going to be an aunt )

Mira stopped into her hut to get some things for the swim Vaytoc and her were going on when she saw her PADD had a message. It was from Kronnelti. "wow that was crazy fast. She is pregnant." Then her eyes widen about being an aunt. That was scary. She sent a message back Congratulating him and Dianna " then put the PADD down on the table before heading out again.

Remembering what Mira had said to him, he is going to keep Dianna and her pregnancy safe.

Leaving his room they both walked the hallways, there was some crew still working while others were relaxing either in their rooms or in the cafe'.

Dianna was amazed how much is happening on the ship, Kronnelti took her around but kept her out of certain areas of the ship. Wow she said there is so much...how do you do it she asked.

He said I normally run something by Mira first before we execute drills and simulations. I will be running one after we leave Risa to ensure everybody is running efficiently.

after a while Kronnelti asked Dianna to go back down to Risa and enjoy the rest of the time left there and she agreed.

Going to the energizer he input the location then stepped on the pad to only appear on the beach. They went to their hut to make sure everything was in order, Spike saw them come in and he jumped on Kronnelti all excited to see him.

Ok boy he said as he gave him head pats it's good to see you too, he then heard his padd go off to see Mira sent a message congrats she said.

Kronnelti had also known about the "buddy system" so he wasn't so worried.

As they left the hut he saw Zimia and called her over to meet Dianna.

Zimia had thought she was in trouble when the chief of security called her over. He introduced her to his mate, " Oh hi, it's so nice to meet you." her eyes went to Kronnelti."Mira is really mad at Rodriguez and Chin. I was only a few minutes in the bathroom, but when I came out, they were gone. Nim took off after I said we should tell Rodale what happened. Sel’uk said that she would rather be on the ship than hang with all of us. So she went back to the ship early I guess"

That's their problem he said, they disobeyed direct orders and Mira is on it. I will let her know about Nim and don't worry about Sel'uk he said.

Just enjoy this time off, me and Dianna have a hut right over there as he points to the hut with Spike on the deck. Go and relax he said and if you want Zimia we can go order some food and drink we can have a little get together, does that sound good? Zimia said yes and can i play with spike she asked. Kronnelti said you can play with him any time you want he said.

Let go and get something to eat and I'll let you pick out what we will eat Zimia.

Zimia nodded happily "The pulled pork and roasted pineapple subs are wild! "

alright Kronnelti said, so he ordered 3 of the subs, a virgin strawberry daiquiri, a sweet tea & a thick T-bone steak for Spike.

They all went back to the hut to relax and eat, Spike was especially happy with the steak.

Zimia really has never seen the Lieutenant so relaxed before, he looks to be always on edge.

Zimia as he looked at her, Dianna will be living with me on the ship when we leave Risa, she loves animals just as much as you do he said. I will be letting Mira know that she can let Vay'toc stay in my room with spike when she is on the bridge and if you want you can keep Dianna company as well.

which reminds me he pulls out his padd, and sends Mira a message. " I'm with Zimia, Dianna and Spike back our hut, she told me Nim abandoned her after Rodriguez and chin left. Sel'uk is still on the ship as well. "

His padd beeped quick with a reply from Mira " This is turning into a working vacation. I am at the detention center getting Trace, Nim and Kevin released. They had trouble with the Ferengi."

Kronnelti pinched his forehead. Dianna can you stay with Zimia for a bit, I am going to go help Mira with something.

Dianna says ok then asks Zimia what she likes to do to have fun as spike jumps on Zimia.

Kronnelti found the detention center and saw Mira standing there pissed beyond well it's ruining her time here.

Mira on my way here I heard talks of two people wrongfully exploring an ancient temple or some shit I wonder if it's one of our own he said.

Mira shook her head no "It's something about a fight. Go back to you mate you are on your honeymoon. " she waved her fingers " I got this."

Are you sure? He asked her.
"Positive."

This is why vacations are more like work, I swear we need a certified babysitter for these people he said as he walks away.

Also what will the captain say about this? He asked

She rubbed her forehead with her fingertips "The Captain is who sent me." She shrugged

Kronnelti stopped in his tracks while looking at Mira and gave that wtf look.

Kinda was hoping the capt wouldn't find out until after our departure he said.

"Yea me too" Mira shrugged "It was the ship that told me to come here and that the captain had ordered it so. I will smooth it over some how. Get back to your mate."

Returning to the hut both Dianna and Zimia are laughing and having fun playing with Spike

Zimia looked "You're having a baby?"

With a smile she said yes, it will be tough with the living conditions on your ship but knowing i have somebody that will protect you at moments notice ensures that we have a safe ship and crew Dianna said. I love that man more than anybody could know and I wont stop.

At the door Kronnelti heard that last part and he said my mate will always be safe and my crew knows it well, aint that right Zimia he said.

If the Captain and Xo didn't trust me to be the Chief of security and tactical I wouldn't be in this position he said.

He then sits down next to Dianna and pulls her in so she can relax, looking back up at Zimia I do find you to be sisterly with Mira and I'm making you my second step sister as well.

"Really! I don't have any family" She smiled "I like that. Mira has been trying ro help me."

Well you can surprise her back on the ship after we depart from here he said.
