Mission: The Avenger
Location: USS Chuck Norris, Captain’s Ready Room
Timeline: Present

Mira had borrowed a set of scrubs from medical to get out of Sickbay. This time, she had made it out of bed and to the storage area to get the scrubs. With the PADD in hand, Mira made her way to the Captain’s Ready Room. Keying entry, she heard his deep voice say enter.

Walking in Mira gave a tentative smile.
"Sir?"
Looking up from his PADD, he was a little surprised to see her. "Should you be out of sickbay?"
Mira shrugged, "Probably not, but things have to get done."

He gave a little nod and then pointed to a chair in his small office. Mira took it. "Sir the USS Avenger will need some help with repairs. The crew is very disorganized over there. I am guessing it has to do with trying to deal with the fact they were sent into the future. That would mess with anyone."

Captain Michael Intermeezo nodded his head.
Mira then asked "I told Captain Shrun the war was over. Does he know that a Romulan warbird is after him?"

Michael nodded. "We had the talk. They are making the necessary repairs. Shields and sensors are working now, I believe weapons are their next priority."

Mira looked down at the PADD in her hand. "I am finding it hard to believe the Romulans continued their testing on the Polaric Energy weapon when it had such devastating effects when used in their lab on Chaltok IV. It's why the Polaric Test Ban Treaty of 2268 was signed. We can't use a Polaric Energy weapon prototype to send both ships back to their own time. That weapon shouldn't be used at all. There is no telling what it would do to this timeline or this ship."

Michael nodded slowly, "I have been told that is how we accomplished it."

Both of Mira’s eyebrows lifted up in shock, and then she groaned. " The temporal police?" she rolled her eyes.
"For a group of people that know how everything already happened, they sure do need a lot of our help. I don't like this. " She bit her lip. " If the USS Avenger isn't in our history, then they never made it back. Changing time is a tricky thing and shouldn't be messed with."

Mira stood with a slight frown on her face. "That ship has a lot of fire power. Did they happen to tell you how we were able to get that equipment off that ship and use it safely?" At his head shake, she groaned again. Just using that equipment is a violation, she thought.

As she walked out, Mira was half tempted to go to the bridge but detoured back to her room for a clean uniform and to see Vaytoc.
