Treatment?

Mira came awake, slowly. The first thing to return was her hearing. By all that was holy, she had feared her hearing might have been lost forever. She relaxed, listening to the sounds of sickbay. They weren't the same as her sickbay. There were some odd sounds she couldn't place. Animals? Maybe.

The feeling on her body then returned slowly as the meds ware off. Opening her eyes, Mira saw a Denobulan staring down at her. Yes, that wasn't creepy or anything, she thought.
The Denobulan smiled. "I am Doctor Delix. How are you feeling?"

"My uniform?" Mira asked.

"We had to cut it off you. Sorry, some of it melted to your skin."

Mira thought that might have happened. lifting the sheet Mira gasped "What is on my wounds Doctor "

"They are....." Doctor Delix.

"No! Correction, Doctor, I don't want to know what they are. I want to know why they are on me!"

Doctor Delix chuckled, "Relax, they are cleaning your wounds and giving them protection from germs."

Mira's eyes widen. "You have got to me joking! Couldn't you have just used a dermal regenerator?

Doctor Delix Frowned. "A what?"

"Oh jeez, I needed to get back to my ship. Doctor, get these off me now." Mira complained.

"No, they aren't done doing their jobs. Do I need to tranquilize you, Commander?" Doctor Delix asked her.

Mira thought about it because there was no way she just lay here and those things on her, but if she didn't stay awake, who knew what this crazy doctor would do. "Where is Kronnelti?"

"I believe he is trying to contact your ship. We aren't sure he has accomplished it yet."
Doctor Delix told her as he looked over her leg. "These should be healed in a week or two."

Mira's eyes widen a week or two? By all that was holy, K'ner could do it in an hour or less.
She was so ready for the USS Chuck Norris to come and find them!
