Drinking

While waiting for the hunting party to get back, Mira hung her hooded fur cape up to dry. She then made her way to the huge fire in the center of the large room. She wasn’t kidding about being frozen.

Odin sat next to her, putting a huge picture of mead in front of her, and he had one for himself. Then he just stared at her. Mira blinked a few times. Was she supposed to start filling up people's drinks now?

When she just raised an eyebrow, Odin laughed. "I was told you could drink like a Viking warrior."

Mira looked at the drink he had got to be kidding? He grinned. "I dare ye min lille"

Mira narrowed her eyes. Well, now he done did. It's a dare now. she had never been able to pass up a dare. "One who drinks the most in the shortest time without spilling it wins?"

Odin frowned but nodded. Mira called to Thor to judge. Thor stopped talking to Lance as he nodded. "This should be good. Now, no spilling half the drink on yourself, Odin, and don't try to make Mira wear her drink either."
Odin laughed but nodded.

"GO"

Both picked up their pitcher of mead up and started downing it. Mira knew there was not much of a chance she could win, but this huge guy was going to get a challenge.

Mira heard Odin belched as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. she raised an eyebrow and stopped drinking because Odin was wearing his mead, too. Thor walked over, looking how much she had drunk, then how much Odin was wearing and held up Mira's hand. "She didn't spill any of hers, my friend." making people laugh.

Mira put her hand on Lance's shoulder to steady herself as she stepped over the bench. She pushed what was left of her pitcher of mead to Thor. "No more of that for a while. Don't you people drink coffee or tea?" Mira asked with a laugh.

Someone put a plate of meat between her and Lance. She had seen people share before. In fact, Thor and her had shared the last meal.
