"Alright, after you." Winters gestured to the android and the team now made their way to wherever Ensign Wyatt may be, to hopefully help, but if the situation called for it, drastic measure would have to be taken.

Out of no where, Admiral van Tomlinsonborg appeared. Not beamed in, just appeared.

Winters nearly choked on his last bit of water. "Uh... Admiral?!? What are you doing here?"

The Admiral grinned ear to ear. "Commander Winters, you just got punk'd!"

"Wait, what?" Suddenly, the backdrop of the horizon faded away to reveal the squared design of a standard Federation holodeck interior.

"Thank Spock this is over," Captain Spice continued, "I couldn't do another step."

"I believe you owe me an explanation, Admiral."

"What do you mean, Commander? You got punk'd."

Winters clinched his teeth. "Yes, I can see that! For starters, why was Captain vonMcCormick restricted to his quarters? What was the project you had our Doctor and Science Officer working on? And finally, where is Collier? I don't see him anywhere around here?"

"Oh that yes," van Tomlinsonborg began. "Captain vonMcCormick. He's not a particularly attractive man. You look much better on camera."

"Okay."

"The science project... we gave them a never ending equation to solve to keep them busy so they wouldn't figure out what was going on."

Winters rolled his eyes.

"As for Collier... that's a good question. You've got me!"

"You mean you have no idea where he is?"

"Nope. We had a different ending in mind, but once Collier beamed down unexpectedly, we designed to just go with it."

Winters crinkled his nose. "You mean we're actually in orbit of a planet, and Collier is still down there somewhere."

"Yep. That's a wrap!" The Admiral clapped his hands. "Captain Spice, I believe our shuttle is waiting."

"Perfect, Sir," said Captain Spice as he reviewed some of the footage on his device. "I think this punk'd twist is really going to help the show after our poor ratings last year."

"Absolutely, Captain. Commander, see you back at Starbase 10!"

OFF:

The whole thing was a ruse to turn the Star Fleet Lives reality show into a version of Punk'd. Only loose end to tie up is that we have to actually get Collier back, and then report to Starbase 10 to pick up the new crewmembers.

Once all that's done, we'll do a week or two of character development posts and then start our next mission.
