"Done," Peke and Marccus said, almost in unison, and both sporting big grins as they closed up their cleaning kits.

K'ner shook her head, and stopped just short of rolling her eyes.

"You two are forbidden to get into trouble. Am I clear?" K'ner urged her teammates.

They both nodded their heads ardently, but K'ner knew neither heard the words that were coming our of her mouth. All they were waiting for was...

"Ok... you're the first two off the ship. 2 by 2... by the numbers... You be back here on time, or earlier..." As if there were any chance of her team not using every minute off-ship.

They moved out with haste, before K'ner could add any further restrictions. Again she shook her head, wondering just how long it would be before she got a call to pick them up...

She looked back over at the others of her tiny, cross-trained squad. Noting Pita was jotting down something she quietly eased in her direction and peeked over her shoulder.

Pita felt her presence finally and slowly looked back over her shoulder. "Ummmmm. Hi Chief," and held her breath.

K'ner exhaled, her expression blank, and let the tension build for a couple of seconds. "I'm in for 3 hours. The rest of the crew is already ahead of them, so they'll have to get in line just to leave before they can get into too much... Plus I've had them locked out of trying to depart in any of the shuttles, so they'll have to mass trans down."

Pita's eyes widened a bit with that little tidbit, realizing the current spread needed an update. She kept her grin to a minimum, but jotted down K'ner's prediction.

K'ner looked around at everyone wrapping up. "Get your cross-duties squared away before your time in the rotation comes up so there's no mixups. Duty trumps fun time eh?"

The room erupted in a unified response, then they all went about their tasks as K'ner exited. She just wanted some downtime in her quarters, straightening out any reports coming due and looking for a power nap before the teams got too involved with their 'fun'...
