There were explosions going off in her brain as she lay on the floor. "Oh my head," Mira moaned, not wanting to move just yet, but knowing she was going to have to.

Two men came running in the cave out of the storm. One, she knew right away as Walker, but Lance looked different. At first, she couldn't place it. Then it hit her, the beard. How could he have shaved so fast, she wondered?

Walker smiled. "We found you finely. Are you ok?" He looked around the cave as if looking for some danger.

Mira slowly set up, with her hand, going to her head. "I have seen better days. Did Kevin find you outside?"


Walker shook his head no. "We have been together most of the day dealing with you know who and his sister."

Mira's eyes darted to Lance's, and she blushed, but she needed to know. "Did you just shave after leaving the cave or..........." She couldn't say anything else.

He shook his head no. "Q....." He touched his face. Q had removed his beard. What did she mean by after he left the cave? It was his first time in here.

Mira lowered her eyes to her hands and then nodded before she got up a little stiffly."I see." was all she could think to say said having a bad feeling she understood it had been Q with her in the cave, not Kevin or ......she should call him Lance now.

{USS Chuck Norris, present time}

The Male Q frowns as he sees Mira on the bridge, then turns to his sister. "I wasn't done yet!"

The female Q laughed, "Your two pets got to the prize first." She gave a little shrug."Besides, this will be more fun. Choices, dear brother. They can prove themselves worthy. "
