Mission:
Throne of Glass
Location: USS Chuck Norris
Timeline: Present
on:
{Mess hall}
Mira laid her head back on the wall. Just a couple of minutes before she got back to the reports.
"She's a sleep," Rodriguez's whispered.
Chin shook his head no. "She isn't."
Mira sighed. "She was until till you two showed up."
Opening her eyes, she smirked at them. "What do you two need now?"
Both men put their food trays down and took seats. "There have been reports of things going missing on the ship,"
Frowning, Mira nodded. " It would seem Michael Intermeezo is limited on the supplies he can get? Or perhaps he just wants to drive us nuts until we do what he wants. " she told him before picking up her padd.
Chin smiled. "So what does this Angel Lox look like?"
Grinning, Mira scrolled through her padd and found the video she was looking for and then handed it over.
Rodriguez gave a silly whistle, but Chin frowned. " her hair is straight, but she is different...."
Mira nodded. "I know it's odd. it's more like a twin than a double of me. We are different. I have been studying her movements just in case I need to use them."
Rodriguez spoke up "its her eyes too. They are hard and cold. Yours aren't."
"True, she is cold..... her first kill was at 12, and she has left death and destruction as she goes." Mira added sadly. "She is a true psychopath."
"Glad we don't have to work with her." Rodriguez added.
Mira nodded and then went to get another cup of Raktajino. At this point, she was just running on Raktajino as her body's fuel.
She needed a quiet place to read her reports without getting interrupted by silly questions that her officers wanted answers for. By now, they all knew their jobs and knew how she wanted operations run. She trusted their skills now they needed to trust themselves.
She looked at the Jefferies tube... then shook her head no. It wouldn't be comfortable, and it was too much like hiding. Then, a grin appeared to her lips.
Walking in, she passed lt jg. Kirk Sokolov and went to the cell. It was smaller than she would have liked, but it was clean and quiet.
She sat down, took her boots off, and then laid-back on the bench, putting her socked feet on the wall to stretch her legs as she read.
Kirk just raised an eyebrow and then went back to his work.
