"Shields are holding, but the 5 unknown objects coming at us has stopped..."

Mira frowned as she got the readings off her console. "Their beaming aboard somethings," tapping her comm badge, she announced, "Intruder alert."

The reports came back to her. The Zaj had beamed 5 giant eggs that had hatched into 5 giant lava creatures onto the ship. They got on the ship as if their shields meant nothing. Taping the shield settings, she started a random rotation of the setting. That had to be what the Zaj had been waiting for, their shield setting! How had they gotten that?

Was any of those creatures sent to the planet? That could cause all kinds of problems.

A report came in from Betaras very detailed they were taking care of their 5 problems. Good.

The last part got a chuckle out of her. Bridge stuff. Part of her so wanted to get her weapons and join them, but it would seem the more command you get, the less fun they let you have. Right now, if she had to guess. Kronnelti was in the middle of a fight dealing with the intruders on the base.......

"Did anyone notice if any of the Zaj ships sent Intruders to the planet?" she asked the bridge crew. Hoping science or tactical might have caught something.

Pulling more power to the shields from different systems that weren't needed right now. She hoped they wouldn't be able to send any more surprises. If they could beam beings on the ship. They could have beamed people off! That thought didn't set will at all with her.
