Nodding to Lieutenant Awal Kronnelti as he entered the bridge, she adjusted the settings on the console, and Mira frowned in concentration. "The base is trying to hail the Zaj. No response from them . I am betting the Zaj people are set to respond only to our actions. if we don't give them one, they are at a loss as to what to do next. " The translator was a jumbled mess right now. The more the Zaj talked between ships, the more they could pick up.

Chin nodded, thinking she was right but that wouldn't last forever. he looked over at Lt Commander Ech'am G'ginloss then back at her. "Reports are starting to come in as to who is still on the base."

She nodded her understanding. There wasn't anything that could be done about it right now. But seeing him run a finger under his uniform collar, she raised an eyebrow. "Come on, Chin we got things going on here."

"It's the Captain." he nodded, his voice cracked."They left the captain on the base."

Mira let lose a string of curses in 4 different languages and then slap a hand over her mouth, realizing she was still standing on the bridge. "I pointly informed the transport crew to lock on him and send him back here!" she hissed. she closed her eyes for a moment. "What about the XO?"

"We don't know yet." he shugged.

Her eyes met G'ginloss' trying to judge his reaction to the news. Nothing showed. She would not want to play poker with him.

Her attention got pulled back to transmissions. "Someone over thier isn't happy right now." that she could pick up from the tone in the conversation.

"If it's true that the Zaj only respond then ......they will have to try something to provoke the base without looking like they are doing it." she licked her dry lips. Looking up at the screen. What would she do?

Her fingers strummed on the console. " If they had a few ships in the back move towards the planet that would set the base off. Just having the ship's drift towards the planet would freak some out. Maybe not the base captain. " she said out loud "Or they just might try to out wait us."

Sure enough, the 2 ships at the back slowly drifted out of formation, drifting towards the planet. "Transmissions have slowed. They have to be thinking this will get the response they want."
