Timeline: Current

OFF: Good work everyone on getting a back log of posts done, I hope now we can really move the plot along!

ON: (U.S.S. Chuck Norris - Bridge)

"Any answers on that hail?" Captain Winters asked, as he slowly walked back to his command chair. Taking a moment to glance over his shoulder and look at the possible hostile ship that had just intercepted them.

"No sir, repeating on in all languages and frequencies, but still no response." Commander Pibb. "They seemed to have fired some kind of warning shot across our bow when they uncloaked. However, currently our sensors are unable to penetrate the hull of the ship. We can get a reading on some of the materials, but that's it."

"Analayis Lt. O’Connelly, have we been able to identify this ship at all?"

"Not yet sir, currently I have not tried to run any deep scans on the ship, just using passive sensors." the science officer replied.

"Probably for the best to keep using the passive sensors. They did use a show of force, but decided to just warn us rather than damage us. I wish not to provoke whoever they are." Winters turned to his First Officer, "What do you think our options are?"

"Well..." G'ginloss ran through a few of the scans and details that he could see, "It's obvious they have cloaking technology, and without it being stolen, that would limit to who they could be. The best analysis I can also get from the passive sensors, and nothing is registering with the any known designs in our database."

"We could try to fight out way out of this." Lt. G'ogoss noted, his hands had not left his controls, waiting for either fight or flight.

"They could have attacked us, in fact, we could already be engaged in a battle, but we aren't. Logic would dictate that with the upper hand and element of surprise, they wouldn't miss unless they had other intentions." Winters hands ran over his computer as he continued to work out their options. "Well, if they are not going to answer our hails, Mr. O’Connelly, please take a detailed scan of their ship."

"Sir, I again will reiterate that there is a chance it could provoke them."

"I am aware..." Winters turned to the man, "Do it.". O'COnnelly nodded his head and began the detailed scans of the ship. After a few moments, an alert chirped and Pibb spoke up.

"Sir, we are now being hailed."

"Put it on screen." Winters stood up, pulling down on his uniform jacket slightly and waited to greet his new, "friend."
