Taking Jason's arm in her's, she motioned for Chin and Rodriguez to keep following them. Lowering her voice so they wouldn't be over heard by anyone she said "I need a report. What's going on now?."

:To anyone around them, they just looked like lovers out for a walk. :

Listening intently Mira nodded . "Romulan? I didn't see that one in my list of possibilities to have happened. That can mean only one thing. Romulans will be trying to destroy the federation before it can even start."

Reaching over, she plucked the comm badge off Jason and put it on her own chest.

=/\= this is lt Commander Rodale, I need all data on the foure fathers of any federation members that are in this time and area. And someone find a report from Admiral James T. Kirk on the details of his mission involving time travel. I don't care what you have to do get it. Also report the location of the captain and xo. =/\=

Frowning Mira cursed in a few different languages. That wasn't good.
she looked at the men with her and said. =/\= beam us up now!" =/\=

Just then, a voice sounded "end program."
within a few moments they were standing in a huge holo deck. Blinking a few times to clear her eyesight Mira narrowed her eye as what had really happened became clear.

She pointed to someone she had known a few years ago. " You son of targ. you had me dropped in that water deliberately!"

Hearing a laugh she put her hands on her hips " so not cool Maltan."

He smiled not in they least bit upset by her anger.
" so why didn't you fully believe you were back on earth. We put you at every disadvantage as possible and still ...."

Mira shook her head. " really I don't know. just facts were not adding up to me."

he nodded. "still after 4 years you handled yourself better then we could have hoped." he looked around "you all did. Your real mission will start in a few days and Mira there was a trunk of your things saved for you. it's in your quarters. "

With that he left. Mira took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Eyeing the team with her she asked "did any of you know it was all faked?"

they all shook their heads no.

"ok .....I am heading back to the ship. I no doubt have one angry cat to deal with and I am starved."

{ship quarters }

Walking in Mira heard the growl then she was knocked off her feet. "Oh gees Vaytoc get off me you over grown kitten. I have had the weirdest few days. "

It did no good so her arms came around him to give a hug. Once he was assured she was fine he got up and hopped on the bed watching her. Mira smiled as she walked to the replicator. Ordering a few rare stakes for him and a cooked on for herself she sat Vaytoc's dish on the floor and took hers to the desk and ate.

Closing her eyes she tried to center herself but it just wasn't working. Wondering what to do next she remembered the trunk. Sure enough it was in the corner. Part of her wondered who had saved her belongs, but it had to have her old captain Victoria. The woman was very thoughtful that way.
