Today marks the first day aboard my first post, the USS Chuck Norris, NCC-4005.

As a member of the limited production Defiant class, she has very few creature comforts, few decks, and most systems are red lined to produce as much power for war as possible. This likely means many of the systems will be falling apart.

On the plus side, it's not particularly big, so it should be easier to get around to put all the fires out.

I'm serving under Captain Arthur Winters.

I haven't met the rest of the engineering staff yet. I wonder how many of them are familiar with Lurians.

A New Chapter in my life begins today. Let's see where we end up.
