After dropping everything off at Kronnelti's quarters, Mira was headed back to her own quarters .

Her eyes widened when she saw Commander Crirr walking towards her. He was a Caitian male that Admiral Proll always had with him. From the uniform color she was betting, he was chief of security of the base.

Mira nodded politely and kept walking only to have her arm taken by his hand and pulled closer so he could hiss in her ear. "I know you did it. I just can't prove it. I had you on surveillance the whole time."

Vaytoc's was in a position to pounce if he did anything to Mira, but honestly, this man had done far worse to her a few times in the past. She wasn't worried about him killing her. Pain she was used to.

"Really? Interesting, so do you know who set off the wake-up call too?" Mira asked with a raised eyebrow, only to hear him growl in more anger. What was the deal? It was a normal prank the base and ships did to each other to break the ice and boredom. Normally, no one got angry about it.

Vaytoc's fangs were out. In a few moments, there was going to be a real cat fight, Mira thought.

Her first instincts were to pull a blade to defend herself, but she was in a dress and had been planning to spend the day with Kevin, so she didn't have one on her. Why would she need a weapon when she would have Kevin and Vaytoc?

That might have been a good thing. Pulling a blade on security was bad, very bad even, if the guy was a jerk. Still, his damned claws were digging into her arm. So she stayed very still and could feel her blood dripping down her arm. "Watch the claws, big guy. I am going to need medical attention if you keep that up." Mira spoke as calmly and neutral as she could under the circumstance.

He shoved her away from him just as Kevin stepped out of the Turbolift. "Keep your people under control, Mira."

Mira nodded curtly. "You keep your claws to yourself." She looked down at her arm.

He lifted his chin. "Admiral Proll wants to see you about a mission."

Mira frowned. Shouldn't he be asking for Captain Intermezzo? She thought, "Should I go now?" She held her arm out slightly. "or after medical care?"

He shrugged. "Put a uniform on." Then he walked away.

Mira shook her head as Kevin joined her. "What was that about?" he took her arm to look at it

Mira frowned. "I am not really sure. He has never liked me much. " she walked into her quarters, "EMH," Mira stated as the emergency medical holographic officer appeared.

"State the reason for your medical emergency."

Mira pointed to her arm. As the EMH worked, she said, "Come with me to see Admiral Proll. I'm not sure why he even wants to see me."

Kevin nodded slowly.
