Alone and scared

My husband and I had to return to the ship as his vacation was over and he had to go back to his duties as the Chief of security.

I have Spike here to keep me company but I miss him, I didn't realize how much i would miss him Spike and I wish he were here to hold me.

I hope i can talk to the captain to see if i can help around, I wonder what Zimia is doing but I don't want to make trouble for anybody or get my husband in trouble.

I hope it's ok for me to leave this room and walk around and since i'm pregnant I think the exercise will help. Spike will you join me? He jumped for joy as he is normally laying down.

Chin passed an unknown woman with Spike by her side he frowned slightly then stops as he turns he said "Can I help you?"

Dianna smiles, "I was wondering if there was anything to do here while my husband is on a mission."

"Your husband?" Chin asked surprised.

"Kronnelti" Dianna smiles.

"Oh I didn't know, you would think with the ship being so small I would have known " He scratched his head in thought. "Mess hall and the gym?" he shrugged his shoulders "I can get you a PADD for personal use. Engineering and the bridge are off limits. Mira's quarters are right there and for some reason keeps it unlocked. When we have time we all play with Vaytoc but you have Spike. " so that might not be as fun for her he thought. "Come with me and I'll assign you a PADD then show you the mess Hall and gym."

He lead her to the Operations center and signed out at PADD to her." Ok here is a map of the ship If the room is red then don't go in. Never bother the captain we all go threw Mira she kinda like .......Mom. " He gave a little laugh.

"Here is the mess hall. you want something to eat or drink you just tell the computer. oh looks like Mira added you 'Dianna Kronnelti' Yea" He looked at the food replicator "Computer Water cold with ice." The glass appeared and he picked it up. " See easy." he told her

Dianna smiled "Do you know where Zimia is?"
He nodded, "Yeah on the bridge but as soon as I get there she will be headed here to eat. You could just wait for her here."
Dianna nodded "let her know I am here."

"sure I can do that." Chin told her before leaving.

It wasn't long before Zimia walked in with a happy smile "How are doing?"


I'm doing good, I just miss him. I didn't expect him to be off on a mission so soon she said.

I'm thinking about looking for something to keep me occupied when Awal is away she said.

Zimia nodded "Yea Mira thought you might. But soon as the baby comes you will be busy. There isn't much call for a waitress here. And missions never take long But...." Zimia smiled " You could start practicing being a mom and be a yeoman? Mira is so busy making decisions that when it comes to simple things like eating. She sorta does not do much. I watch her, and she will stand at the replicator and then look to see what someone else picked. I know she was orphaned at age 7, but " Zimia looked around to see if anyone else was listening."Who ever took her in wasn't nice. She will say that sometimes, on diplomatic missions, you have to suck it up and eat what they are eating. Like bugs!" Zimia looked like she discussed. "but I think maybe that's all she could get."

A yeoman that's interesting she said. Between you and me when I met Kronnelti I was still she whispered in Zimia's ear a virgin.

Her tummy started rumbling uh I could eat she said, let's get something and get some girl talk.

Sirloin steak medium well, baked sweet potato with butter, an unsweetened tea and a slice of new York cheesecake Dianna said to the replicator.

Zimia's eyes grew wide wow is that for the baby too?

Yes I read up on what will happen and what to do.

Zimia got the lemon chicken pasta and a mixed salad with strawberry lemonade.

"Did you grow up on earth? I was born on Bolarus IX. both my parents started working on a frater ship and were killed. The Captain put me in an orphanage because no one on the crew wanted to take care of me. Then I tested so high in language I was able to join starfleet. Mira has been helping me learn all kinds of languages. She said one day I'll be better than she is at it."

I did grow on earth but I lived with my aunt and uncle, both parents were abusive, I don't know much for language but I hope you excel and become something that you have dreamed of.


"Thank you." Zimia smiled. "I never thought I would get this far. Did Kronnelti give tour?"

He did and he said the bridge is off limits just like that last guy but since everyone was busy he gave me a glance from the door. I couldn't see much of anything but it must be nuts she said.

So everybody knows who Spike is when they see him? She asked

Mira said that my husband tamed this cutie from something called the Q?

Zimia nodded, "Yes. Q. Well, for some reason, Q is the name of their race and each all-powerful beings name. they are all named Q. I would think that would be very confusing, but" She gave I little shrug. The male Q got interested in Mira, and then he decided they whole ship was his to play with. He changed the ship a few times and our uniforms. After that, he took us to Risa and into Romulan space. "Mira agreed to something, and he let us all go. "

And I thought the delegates were nasty she said, the bar I worked at was for them to gather and I'm glad I got out because they would say nasty things about what they would do to the person when said delegate flirted with the bar keep.

How long is your break? She asked as they have been talking for quite a bit now.

"I probably should be heading to operations Mira sent a new language back from the ship. I need to start working on.

Dianna took Zimia's hands and said you got this, let me know what language it is next time we run into each other she said.

Zimia smiled and nodded then went back to operations and Dianna headed for the gym.
