Once again I'm needed

Kronnelti was in his office when his padd went off. It's kira asking for help to get Commander Rodale to sick bay, he sighs and calls Spike to follow him.

{DS9, Quark’s Bar}

Just a few minutes go by, and Kronnelti walks into Quarks bar only to find Mira drunk.

"Quark you had better not turn the photo into a panting for your bar!" Mira told him.

Let me handle this he said as he picks up Mira. She looks at him and slurs out. "That's my brother.... You're still my brother, right? Because everything else just got really crazy. The Captain isn't really the captain, and I am not really the XO, and I am not even a Commander because an impostor did all that. All this time, he was in the Captain’s office being sneaky, and we never caught him."

Mira, have you been drinking too much?

Mira smiled. "YeaP," she said and made the pop sound with the P.

Ok, as he turns around the Klingon, who had picked her up earlier, now stands behind Kronnelti

"Yeah, I was going to take her home with me." The Klingon commander complained.

Mira laughed. "NoPe, I am going home with my brother. Told you that, and I bought my own drinks."

Kronnelti sets the drinks back down and told Quark to put them away, then handed him some credits enough to replenish his stock plus some to keep for himself.

"Hey, I was drinking them both." Mira frowned as her drinks got taken away. "Quark, give them back....." she realized she was moving, and she wasn't walking."Ok. Just send them to my quarters then." Mira told Quark, who just laughed.


Thank you, commander, he said. But I'll take it from here.

The big klingon just frowned as the woman left with the security chief.

As Kronnelti carried her, Mira said, "But I am without a job. I should not be going to the Norris.
Kronnelti just wasn't listening to her.
Mira tried one more time. "Kira told me all about it. This captain doesn't know me. well, we might have met. I am not sure any more.

Kronnelti lays Mira down on the biobed and told K'ner she's been drinking. He then looked at her and says I'm not leaving! I'm going to stay right here, then he puts two fingers in his mouth and whistled that's when both Vaytoc and Spike come in.

Mira winced at the loud sound.

I need you both to stay outside the door for me. Kronnelti told the cats.

Mira looked at K'ner. "Our captain hasn't been our real captain since the Zaj attacked. Kira told me so when she got me drunk. Don't look at me like that I am not nuts." Mira pouted why was no one believing her?

She told you while you were drinking that way do you wouldn't panic. It turns out the Zaj actually did have an imposter that looked like the captain. But we are who we are now. Yes, you still are, so he said

Just next time somebody goes missing, please stay away from the mirror universe, he said.

"I didn't push myself into the transporter that sent me to the Mirror universe, but since I was there, I thought I would look for the Captain. I mean, if that ..... doctor could send me there, then she could have sent the captain too."
At least Mira got a new weapon out of the deal.

K'ner frowned. "How much did you drink?"

Mira shrugged. "I was trying to keep up with everyone else, but Kira kept exchanging my almost empty cup for her full one."

Mira sighed. "You still think I am XO and commander when the real captain didn't order it?"

K'ner patted her hand. "It was star fleet command approved."

Mira nodded, but did he want her as his XO, she thought.

Quark came by with her two bottles she purchased, I thought you'd want these he said and i ran into what's his name Lance and well he's embarrassed that he kissed you when he was drunk.

That sent Kronnelti off...he grabbed Quark by the throat and gave him the death stair

"I know, Quark. I thought when he passed out that he wouldn't remember. " Mira sat up slowly, trying to keep the ship from spinning. "I told him..Its ok and not to worry about it." Mira remembered kissing him today while he wasn't drunk. At least he will remember it now.

But no matter what Kronnelti said, she didn't think Kevin was really interested, and that was fine. One day, she would meet a man that she was interested in, and he was interested in her as well.

Mira smiled at K'ner. "Did I do any permanent damage?"

K'ner shook her head no. "But you keep it up like that, and you will."

"I'll be more careful, Doctor." Mira told K'ner

"Can't breathe," Quark wheezed out.

"Let him go Awal he can't help it if Lance is embarrassed." Mira shrugged.

Quark tugged on his shirt collar. "By any chance, do you still have that leather outfit, and are you willing to pose for a painting? "

Mira shook her head "No Quark you are not putting a painting of me in your bar. Thank you for bringing my bottles, but you should go."


Kronnelti let him go and Quark ran like a dog with his tail between his legs.

He sighs and looks at Mira, lets go back to the bridge and see what the captain is going to do next.
