DS9 visit

Location: USS Chuck Norris
Timeline: Present

It had taken longer than expected to get to DS9, but Mira had put the time to good use gathering information for Captain Shrun.

He was looking it over right now. "This has worked before?"

Mira nodded. "It's not something to be taken lightly. But yes, Kirk has used this method two separate times. My worry is the Avenger it's self. "

Shrun nodded. "There doesn't seem to be any mention of us in history. If we go back, would that change time? That might make a problem."

Mira sat back in her chair she had the same thoughts. "Time might change. There is no telling what it would do. Could be good or bad. The people in this time wouldn't notice. "

Shrun nodded, "What would you do?"

Mira frowned. "I am probably not the one to ask. I have nothing keeping me in this time but ...friends. I could start over any place and time living until the end. I am doing that now. Rebuilding my life." She shrugged. "This is something you and your crew should decide. If there is nothing else, I am going back to Norris and giving the crew a little R&R until our next assignment. "

"We are choosing life too. We can have it here."Shrun told her. Mira nodded, relieved, no more time change problems.

{USS Chuck Norris, Readyroom}

Keying for entry, Mira heard 'enter.' She smiled as she walked in. "Do we have a new assignment?"

Captain Intermeezo shook his head no.

"Then, with permission, I would like to start shore leave for the crew." Mira asked.

"That's fine. Will you be taking off as well." the Captain asked her.

"I would like to. Vaytoc and I have spent the last four years in open space. It's a little hard adjusting to being aboard ship all the time."

He nodded his understanding.


Leaving Mira handed the PADD to the Duty officer. "Start rotation for shore leave." He nodded then asked her "And where will you be?"

"I am going to a little spot Ezri Dax told me about on Bajor. It is by a lake and has a camping area." Mira smiled

He shook his head "You and the outdoors. Why don't you try a spa?" he asked her.

"Vaytoc wouldn't be happy. He is cooped up enough." Mira smiled before heading back to her room to pack a backpack. Then she went to the cargobay to grab her camping gear. She would have to see what the base had in the way of clothes..
