Cold dip

It was the wee hours of the morning the air was crisp and frigged. Mira bundled up in fur and was holding a cup of hot coffee. She yawned behind her hand as most of the camp started to make their way to the riverside to use ice pickets on the frozen river.

She had slept a few hours next to Kevin and Vaytoc before all the noise woke everyone up in the great hall. Seemed for the 12 days of Christmas everyone did their best to stay awake as much as they could so they didn't miss any of the fun.

Standing at the riverside, the wind blasted cold air, making her huddle closer to Kevin. Mira frowned at the Vikings. "They can't really be planning to jump into the river at this temperature?" Mira whispered.

Kronnelti chuckled as he knelt down to pet spike. "It does look like they are planning that."

Mira shook her head, then saw people striping out of their leather. "Oh jeez," she turned her face towards Kevin's chest, blushing.

"Come join the fun, spotted one. The water is invigorating!" a male voice yelled.

"Oh no, that's okay. I am fine right here!" Mira yelled as she waved an arm laughing. For some reason, she thought they were going to just jump in as is. "Is it safe to look?" Mira whispered, "Give it another moment, " Kevin replied. Then he said, “Safe as it's going to get." Mira turned to look. They really were in the water.

"I hope sledding is better than this." she whispered to Kevin. They do that dressed, right?" she looked a little alarmed now.
