The heat felt wonderful! For the first time in months, she was warm, but she kept her pace steady not wanting to strain the team. They made quicker time than she had predicted.

Walker called out to Lance, shocked to see him alive. "You're alive? They told us you died."

Mira nodded. " it good to see you're still with us." She smiled.

Mira turned to the Fawuine. "My name it Lt.Commander Mira Rodale, first officer of the USS Chuck Norris. We are part of the United Federation of Planets and are here to help." Seeing how Faline's eye roamed over the Klingon uniform Mira grinned "We don't normally dress like this or travel in Klingon transport vessels its complicated."

Faline nodded with grin. " You don't look Romulan or Klingon. You don't even look like Lance."

Mira shook her head no. " We are all from different planets. I am from a planet called Trill, they are from Earth, and our Doctor K'ner is a Flaxian but this area is very unstable and we need to get you and your people to safely."

Lance spoke up "The Romulans wanted to
execute then for being in thier space. I gave them our protection."

Mira nodded pulling out a tricorder. "Then we had better hurry up." her eyes meet Faline's " The ships are limited in size so please take only what is of value to you. The Federation will provide any thing else you might need. We will even help you decide what planets your people might be happy on. You will be free to choose and have freedom."

Faline nodded and went to gather her people.

Mira looked at Lance "Sorry we took so long. We had to stand trial."

Mira bit her lip still not sure what Q had in mind for the ship and crew. She was still at a loss as to why Q would have them rescue these people. "How many are we taking to the ship? Can it done in one trip?" she asked him.
