Reporting on...

Mission: The Return
Location: Outpost 382
Timeline: Current

Mira could not see what was going on behind Joffery's group, but it sounded like maybe K'ner had arrived to take out the trash she thought.

K'ner's team had spread out to cover the newest additions to the crowd after she'd spotted them creeping in. As the infamous captain started to raise his rifle, K'ner merely said to her team, "Watch this."

Mira's head dropped out of sight behind the wall of bodies in front of the team, but then so did Maclor, impacted by at least two or three shots and Rodale's diminutive but powerfully focused kick that more than offset the kickback from the incoming shots.

"He's down," she said amongst the quiet chuckles around the perimeter.

K'ner watched and listened as Mira resumed her report back to Capt Intermeezo, bringing them up to speed after the.. interruption.

Meanwhile one of the new arrivals seems to be trying to sneak off to the side in the action, a glaring purple dot on her display. <*>"Taz, please assist Mr Williams back to the group."<*>

There was a sound of a light scuffle nearby. As those gathered turned to look, a phaser flew around the corner, sliding to a spinning stop on the ground, followed by the now less than formally dressed Capt Williams. A combat suit followed along, walking normally to 'assist' the fallen SF officer.

"My apologies sir, you seem to have fallen. Please rise and return to be incarcerated and tried for your crimes." The proffered arm pointed in the direction of the crowd, more specifically to the small crew standing separately with security around them. Well, one was lying down.

The grumbling Williams limped forward as Taz scooped up the phaser and secured it on her belt, her weapon's aim never leaving the soon-to-be ex-captain.

K'ner stepped free of the outer perimeter, passing by her with a nod.

"Always so proper." K'ner said quietly.

"He resisted my initial request."

Taz handed her something, a scrap of cloth. K'ner wadded that up after looking at it and knelt down to check the fallen Maclor. Satisfied he was stable, and only minor injuries, she ripped a piece of his clothing away and surveyed the men that had come with them. She cleared her visor so they could see she wouldn't tolerate any pushback.

Turning, K'ner stepped over to the commander, the tiny outside speaker turned way down. "Commander, we have our package. Do you think your new friend could identify which side it's on? it's in a fiber-containment but we can easily clear the head... or whichever part it needs to be identified."

"Or hold it til later... up to you." K'ner shrugged, as much as that was possible in the suit. She handed the scraps of cloth to Mira while she mulled that over... two sets of captain's pips...
