Timeline: Present

Looking up at the building with the big headquarters sign on it, Mira frowned. She hated this building and didn't want to go in it again.

Looking at the tricorder, it said no living DNA found, but was it really?

The fight earlier was predominant in her thoughts so she asked. " Check weapons. Who has the lowest charge right now?"

Sokolov cleaned his throat. "That would be me, Lt.Commander." she slipped the phaser rifle off her back and tossed it to him. "It's fully charged. Last attack, I was in too much pain to use it. "
"But Lt Commander?"

"Consider it an order." She told him

Putting her hand on the door, she pushed it open and then froze. There were no bodies, and everything was clean. "How nice of them." she looked around. "ok, half stay here and look for anything. The rest of you come downstairs with me. "

operations center

Giving the console a look, she kicked it. "They sure didn't want us to use this anytime soon."

Rodriguez nodded. "Can you fix it?"

" I can fix anything," Mira mumbled as she went under the console.

He nodded, holding a phaser as he looked around. "So seeing as you are hooked on Caffeine, what did you do when you were stranded?"

Mira sighed. " Are you nervous, Rodriguez? or just nosy. "

"Both," he wispered. " Please start talking. "

Chuckling, she said "ok I found a root I could chew on with the tricorder the first day I was able to get around. the tricorder died about the second week I was there. So, I used the parts to boost the transmitter on the shuttle. Vaytoc and I hunted for food, eating whatever we could. Just not the red bugs. they were toxic. "

He nodded. "What do you think Vaytoc is doing without you up there."
Mira smirked. " He is chewing on the boots of yours. I told Chin to give him."

"Why? I love them!" He told her

"Well, Vaytoc is loving them more. And the Horga'hn is why" she told him

Sokolov chuckled "Oh Rodriguez I got to hear how a Horga'hn fits in all this."

Mira laughed she hadn't known he was in the room too. " he conned Chin into giving it to me as a room warming gift. I had to tell Chin what they were."

She pulled herself out from under the console. then flipped the console on

" Lt.Commander Mira Rodale to the USS Chuck Norris." She closed her eyes " Lt.Commander Mira Rodale to the USS Chuck Norris please come in."

Nothing she cursed "OK so maybe they are out of range to send a message back to us."

She was tempted to try and contact Lieutenant Commander Ech'am G'ginloss or
Lieutenant Awal Kronnelti but refrained. if they were in a bad position she could give them away.

"It seems a nova class ship is assigned to this outpost. USS Equinox." an ensign told her

"Isn't that a science vessel? Why would they fire on this outpost. Thier own outpost?" Mira asked, confused. She folded her arms. "Even if it was taken over by the Undine, so is the outpost. Plus, they have a crew of 78. All the people down here couldn't be on the ship now." She frowned, then added,"the outpost Captain asked for aid 10 minutes before we got here. Nothing is adding up."
Mira was frustrated

Message came in from K'ner say that no one but Undine were at the mess hall she was meeting her team at medical and coming back here.
