{Chuck Norris, Mess Hall}
The last couple of days had left the captain tired and hungry. Given their current position in the mirror universe it wouldn’t be very prudent of him to go lie down in his quarters for a while. At least not at the moment. The ship and its crew needed a leader, and he was it. At the very least he could grab himself something to eat before returning to the bridge.
He walked into the small mess hall and approached the replicator. He wasn’t entirely sure what he wanted, or if he was actually hungry at all. But it had been over 24 hours since his last meal and his body needed something to keep it going.
“Ham sandwich. Brown bread. Lettuce, tomato, mayo, and red onion.” Within a couple of seconds the sandwich had materialised within the replicator and he reached for it. As he turned around he saw his XO sat at one of the tables. He approached the woman and sat in the chair next to her, placing his sandwich on the table.
"Captain is was thinking before we leave the base we should ask for volunteers to take a better look at the base. Any information could be helpful as to why we are here."
As he was thinking about it, he heard Rodale's gasp of alarm as she saw Doctor Durzo Sheela and Lieutenant Keri Korus get transported off the ship. Then he heard "Captain....." As Rodale was beamed way.
The man got to his feet immediately, knocking his sandwich to the floor, and tapped his comm badge; “Bridge, red alert, raise shields.”
The lights in the mess hall dimmed and the red alert klaxon begun sounding off across the ship. He moved quickly through the corridors until he had reached the bridge. “Report.”
“Three crew members have been beamed off the ship, Captain.” One of the bridge crew offered. “Lieutenant Commander Rodale, and Lieutenants Sheela and Korus.”
“Where have they been beamed to?” The Captain questioned.
The crew member read her scanner, “I’m not entirely sure, sir. But scans do show residual traces of their transporter signal on Terok Nor. My bet would be that they’re on the station, but I can’t get a signal lock on any of them.”
Michael sat in the command chair and grasped the arm rests tightly. He was helpless for the moment to bring his people back to the Chuck Norris.
