Wyatt woke up from the command console. He had felt like he had just pulled a 007.

However he had some comfort knowing that his friends were saved. The sad part was the shapeshifter that died in his place.

Suddenly Wyatt heard a familiar voice. The voice of David Marcus the Captain of the Montana D.

"Attention all survivors we are hear to escort you to the nearest Federation outpost."

This was Wyatt's chance as he hadn't seen the ship in months and wanted to be back. Wyatt responded, "This is Lieutenant commander Wyatt acknowledged sir."

Marcus was put in a state of shock. The last reports about Commander Wyatt was that he was dead. How was he alive? Was this some sort of elaborate tone deaf prank.

Within moments Wyatt was helping the crew get on the ship. "I had to fake my death sir" Wyatt replied when asked.

"Ah well do you need a lift?" Marcus asked.

"No thank you just get them to safety. I've got to find my ship. I've been gone to long" Wyatt replied.

The two agreed, shook hands then left. Wyatt was all alone for once he had no help from Starfleet or his crew. It was his time to shine. Aside from his heroics.

The thought occurred to him to continue to play dead and go off chasing woman in the galaxy apart from Starfleet. However he had other ambitions and would have to be dead for another reason.

Wyatt suddenly heard the viewscreen roar to life. He quickly flipped the switch to reveal a older woman. Wyatt knew who she was a Starfleet legend. "Admiral Marcus to what do I owe the pleasure" Wyatt said.

"Your Captain is in trouble. I can't explain how, only where" she proclaimed. Boy the tables have turned. Wyatt joked to himself.
"You have the transport ship correct?" Marcus asked.

"Yes I do" Wyatt asked confused.

"Great then my grandson succeeded. All right your orders are to save Winters. I apologize for being blunt but not much is known as of now." Marcus explained.

"It's quite all right admiral, I can manage. Just tell me where"

"I've sent you the coordinates. Also your gonna need to stay dead, in a manner of speaking. Only Captain Winters and myself are the ones who can know as of right now." Marcus elaborated.

"Understood." Wyatt said as he finished up with her. Wyatt quickly glanced at the coordinates. "How did she know where he was?" Wyatt thought.

A sense of comfort now surrounded Wyatt as he knew he was. He was above the ship that winters was on. It appeared to be the same class however Wyatt's ship was cloaked.

Wyatt needed a way in. Docking was out of the question as it would give away his presence. He had to be discreet. Then it hit him this wasn't a Federation vessel which would allow him to hack the transporter of this ship below.

"Worth a shot" Wyatt thought as he ran to the weapons room. He grabbed a spare phaser just in case. Then he grabbed the keys of a corpse. Slowly he moved toward the transporter.

When he arrived he caught a glimpse of the familiar setting of the control panel. He input a few clicks and the thing was set.

Wyatt now found himself on board the same ship. Only he wasn't the only thing living. However he figured he didn't have long before the slavers picked up on an intrusion. He had to find Winters and get him out of here fast.

Suddenly a young man approached Wyatt. "your John Wyatt aren't you?" he asked.

"Maybe that depends on who's asking" Wyatt said.

"I am Jonathan Marcus" he replied, "My grandmother sent me here for observation originally. Sort of as a spy. However when they brought in Winters I told her and she sent you. How do you think she knew where Winters was?" he explained.

" I don't know I guess I just assumed she knew. Anyway where is he?" Wyatt asked.

"Follow me but lay low because we don't want to draw any unnecessary attention" the man explained.

The man led Wyatt into a long dark tunnel at the end was something of a 21st century prison. " your captain is behind this door. I would help you open it but it appears you already have the keys to open it. I'm going to have to go now because me being here is already probably going to get me killed but don't worry about me worry about your captain." the man explained.

Wyatt obeyed as he began to open the door he saw Winters. Although it was a different look than Wyatt was used to. "Yes Winters it's me Wyatt here take this you're going to need it. I don't have time to explain anything we just need to get you out of here" Wyatt said.

Winters was almost beside himself. Out of all the people who could have came through the door, good or bad, Wyatt was the last person he was expecting. A hundred questions went through his mind, but he knew there was no time to ask them now, it would hopefully come later. "Well lead the way."

The Winters stepped out from the room and formed up behind Wyatt. The two men got all of 5 feet away from the cell before they heard the sound of two doors. Winters ears perked up and he came to a stop. Wyatt took another step before he stopped as well. Both men had a sense of dread just wash over them. Winters looked back to the cell door, knowing that was one of the doors he heard. The other, from his glance, was the door to an obvious turbolift that were just about 10 feet away from the cell. Williams was standing outside of it. His arm was already raised with a weapon trained on both men.

"I don't know how this has happened, but we're going to be putting a stop to right now before anyone tries any sort of cowboy diplomacy." William took a few more steps in to close the gap between them, either trying to intimidate them, or just increase his chances in hitting his targets. "Now, the ship is landing in a few moments. At that time we are all going to be civilized and walk out of here as gentlemen."

"What's the alternative?" Wyatt snapped back .

"Well, it's on your back..." his lips curled with a slight evil grin, "Either in a bag, or a medical stretcher, doesn't matter to me. I still get paid. But as an old earth saying would go, the ball is in your court."
