Shaking the ship as they left while in the turbulence of the planets atmosphere was something that Lt. Brooke had excellent reflexes for. It seemed her nickname during academy had been wave rider for this exact reason. Lt. Riley being at tactical, stepping up in this uncertain time. They both somehow looked ready. Was it because right now, in the moment, they had no choice but to do as they were trained?

Keegan being down in engineering, he was as ready as he can be, in this moment. He would need to be ready, for the engine's would need repair during this. In every scrap any ship is in, maneuvers could mean life or death in engagements.

"Riley, prepare the gypsy protical." G'ginloss said as he broke the silence, bringing people back from the air of their thoughts.

"The gypsy protical sir?" She replied

"Yes, search for it, it's a little trick I've created to assist us in this upcoming battle. It may be our best chance of survival and ensuring we are hear to pick up the shuttles."

"Found it sir, implementing proticals now."

The sounds throughout the ship changed to a smitter and thrumble that hadn't been heard before. The ship shook and moved differently as well.

=/\= Umm, sir? I think there is something wrong with the ship, the systems sounds have changed to nothing I have seen before. What's going on? =/\= Ensign Keegan asked over the comms.

=/\= Mearly a different way of running the ship for stealth and speed during a short run to gain a better advantage while remaining silent to others scanning for ships. Being the first time used it is louder as the ship hasn't used these modifications before. It should begin to settle in a few moments. =/\= Lt Commander G'ginloss replied.

Shortly after the ship began to hum in a higher octave then it usually did although now the ship is responding much quicker then normal. We were ready for anything now as our maneuverability was unlike anything seen before.
