The doors the small infirmary opened, allowing Aurther to walk in with just a few short steps to look around. It was much calmer than the last time he was in here. Of course that was during the storm of a battle, and it was a little hard to remember everything about that. Whether by the omission of his own memory, or maybe a knock or two to his head might have caused that, but in either case, he knew he had to make sure he was in, working order. Noticing the Doctor Tyjuuc was still at her desk, he made his way over to her, slightly clearing his throat to get her attention.

"Good Afternoon doctor, I thought I would just pop in to see how you are, your nurses are..." he slightly trailed off, before coming back, "And perhaps getting myself a slight check up."

Tyjuuc sat at her desk and across from her sat a crewman wearing a blue Starfleet uniform when the captain approached she raised the palm of her hand like people do on earth to stop. "Pick a biobed." She said addressing the Captain. Placing her hand down from the air she said to the crewmen with a smile. "I maybe a Vulcan but my tactics are legendary you may return to duty." She said getting up from behind the desk to locate where the Captain had parked himself.

The Captain had "parked himself", down on the nearest bio bed. Usually one for words, he was thrown off by how the Doctor reacted to him. He was unsure of her bed side manners. Lt. Tyjuuc was a relatively new addition to the Chuck Norris, and what with everything that had happened since her transfer in, he had not had much time to get to know the women, or really meet her. He knew that was one of his flaws sometimes, was just getting to engrossed in his work to make time for other people, it was a newer problem, but he was working on it. However he also knew that when he asked for a new doctor, he stressed about the jobs Defiant class ships had to do and trusted that Starfleet would sound him their best. "So..." Aurther said, and paused for a moment trying to find the words, "How are you?". As soon as the words came out, he internally felt how almost childish he sounded.

Tyjuuc was grabbing a medical tricorder from a nearby stand. "If you wish to perform small talk I can transfer you to another Doctor, I don't recommend this action." She said walking towards Captain Winters.

"Very well, I will disengage my small talk subroutine and just sit here quietly." Aurther snapped himself to stiff pose, waiting for the doctor to do her work.

Tyjuuc began scanning him with the tricorder. "I apologize for our earlier encounter Mr Winters." She said.

"It's quite alright." Winters was slightly confused, unsure of which encounter she was referring to.

Completing the scan she closed the device and asked. "You are fit for duty return to your post unless you wish to discuss other subjects?"

"Well, there is something going on with my head, a cut or something, I found some blood on my hands earlier, I so I supposed I hoped that would could be sealed up." Winters thought for a moment and looked around, before letting out a slight sigh, "I always thought I would be ready for command, yet here I am, second guessing myself. I guess, that would be something to discuss."

Tyjuuc turned the tricorder over to read the label her medical officer added it read. "Broken." Tyjuuc turned around to face Cadet Xun Wu. "By repairing it I meant reboot it not labelling it." She said throwing it at the poor Cadet at the back of the room. "Nurse!" She shouted. Then preceding to exmain the Captain's head not listening to his drunken story.

Nurse Yijun showed up within seconds. "Yes sir?" He asked.

Tyjuuc moved to the side of the Captain. "Locate a Dermal regenerator that your brother has not touched and repair the Captain unit." She said to him.

Yijun proceeded to find a Dermal regenerator. "Captain unit?" He thought. "Doesn't look like a Borg to me."

Tyjuuc placed her hands behind her back as she waited it would be better assisting with his breakdown. "I have majored in Counseling and is this ship's Acting Chief Counselor. All Captains have sat in your position they think they're not up to the task but they are and have not yet discovered it. Captain Janeway blamed herself for stranding her ship and crew in the Delta simply she resigned her crew encouraged her to stay by working as one. It's my psychiatric diagnostic that you had not found your fuse to light the fire... Nothing intrigues you to remain at your current post I recommend reading about your hero from their losing battles to their winning battles." Tyjuuc said softly and in a calm voice like was talking to a baby.

Aurther listened to the words that doctor said, even if she did say them in a more unconventional way then one would expect a doctor and or counselor to address the Captain, or really any member of the crew. Her words though did strike a slight nerve with him. He wasn't sure what had made him doubt himself, it was not a feeling he was familiar with. However the reading into, what one might call his old "heros" might just give him a little inspiration. By the time all of this had processed through his head, it had been healed. He gave a small leap and jumped off the bio bed. "Thank you doctor, it's you've been most helpful."

"I'm the ship's acting Chief Counselor until you appoint one." She said then noticing Yijun returning. "But I am willing to take the role full time." She remarked.

Yijun brought with him the Dermal regenerator he placed next to Captain who sat alone side of the biobed and went to the other side to find the hole. "Target located." He said picking up Dermal regenerator. "Being repairs." He added then turned the device on and began looping around the wound.

"Anything else we can do sir?" Asked Tyjuuc.

"No..." Winters paused, rubbed his head where the wound once was, "I think I'm good now "

"Return to your post," Tyjuuc said.
