Message from an old friend

OFF: Okay guys, like I said I will work on getting a new mission out, but if you want to finish up any character work before that, please feel free to go ahead and do it.

ON: (U.S.S. Chuck Norris - Captain's Ready Room)

Aurther sat down in the his chair. It was funny to him. He had been sitting in this chair, in this room for weeks now, essentially acting as the Commanding Officer of the Chuck Norris. However now things seemed a little different, yet still the same. It was just a different feeling.
However not everything was giving Winters that good feeling. It had only seemed a short time ago that the entire crew of the ship was replaced. Now the Captain had been replaced, and some of the crew that had first joined place were now transferring off the ship. He had guessed that maybe the excitement of everything and a little mutiny every now and then were just a little too much for them. This was going to put in a few holes in some key positions that would have to be filled before the Chuck Norris left Starbase 10, but he felt confident about it. He had hopped to see some transfers in before too long.
One message did come in though, and he took his time before going to read it. It was from an old friend of his, a former officer, crewman and Captain of the Chuck Norris, Captain Shane Youngblood. He smiled as he opened up the letter and started to read.
