Timeline: Immediately after Feint

Phaser blasts and torpedoes smashed through the Aurelius' shields and scored hits on the ship's hull. There was an almost perpetual vibration from the impacts resounding through the ship's superstructure. Most of the bridge crew were dead or wounded and the communications officer stopped calling out damage reports. But the data pad on the Captain's Conn continued to scroll the price Kevin had paid to disable the Norrus.

He continued to maneuver the ship as he gave orders to return fire on their attackers.

"Highness," the communication officer called out between Kevin's orders to the depleted crew, "There is a message coming in. Multiple frequencies."

An offer or a demand for surrender, Kevin wondered. He had no intention of accepting either but his curiosity was peaked. "Pipe it to my Conn," he ordered after another small explosion rocked the bridge. He would listen to the message privately.

Moments later a familiar voice sounded in his ears. "Pulling your chestnuts out of the warp reactor is getting stale, Seventeen."

"Shen?"

"The lengths you will go to get out of an Andorian wedding," the fighter pilot replied, "Turn to bearing 135 and accelerate. We will cover you."

Kevin brought the ship around to the requested heading and ordered full power to the rear shields. The tactical display showed a group of almost two dozen new contacts at extreme range. "Tactical!" Kevin shouted, "Tag the new contacts as friendlies,"

"Aye, Highness"

"I have your nordic friends with me," Shen said.

"Thor?" Kevin questioned.

"Nah?" Shen continued, "He is chasing after your wife. The nutty one with the thick accent."

Astra Borsdotter was in the Mirror Universe? Had to be. Alpha Pyrix Five had been burnt to a cinder after contact with the Odinskus according to Imperial records. There was no evidence that the Emperor had ever met this universe's Astra or Kera. It was why Kevin had used Thyra's name in his coded message to Mira.

"Engaging," Shen announced and the Federation fighter shuttles streaked past the Aurelius, firing photons and phasers at Kevin's pursuers.

Another voice came over the comms. "Vell met Lancesohn," Astra greeted, "Kontinue hon youse prezent kourse und ve vill tranzport youse to hour sheep."

"Negative," Kevin countered, "We need to destroy the Norrus. The Defiant-class ship that I have been engaging.

There was a pause and then the replied, "Eet shall be as youse kommand. Gets behind die Kaserin und ve vill protekt youse.
