K'ner wondered if this counted as an official visit; she knew the counselor had been reviewing the personal logs she'd sent on a regular frequency.

"What?!" T'Pralik exclaimed, almost squishing the piece of soap in her hand that she'd been carving.

K'ner chuckled lightly. "After all this time, it still seems odd when you express like that. Yes, we're headed out, the XO has been snatched, and we may find another child of the CO's."

The slightly heavy-set woman shook her head. "For such a small crew, I certainly have a lot of work."

K'ner sobered. "You might be needed on this next jaunt. The Captain will be briefing soon, I'm sure, but you'll need to grab a go-bag and head over to the Harbinger as soon as."

T'Pralik looked curious, but K'ner was already on her way out...
