On Duty, Off Duty...

I guess I get some downtime after so long. Not sure what I'd do with it if I actually had it, but the Captain says the XO is headed dirtside to some place called De Beach Haviehay. From what he says it's rather isolated, which is perfect for her, but trouble seems to find her wherever she goes, so he's gifted me with my kind of downtime.

He seemed to infer we shouldn't make ourselves known so we don't get on the XO's bad side... I shudder to think... but she's pretty astute, and since she's been staying in Haz barracks, she's one of ours, and we take care of our own. Once we get back from overwatch on the Suliban goobers, Bravo element will head down to set up a contingency somewhere near the beach she's on. He said there are a few huts there and she'd invited other crew members, so we can observe whoever shows up.

She's bound to come across us sooner or later, but she'll also figure it out just as quick. At least the rest of the squad can relax until I swap 'em out halfway through and everyone got to come down so they all get to bivvy in paradise. It's always good to get time in different environments.
